Aye! Happy New year! I planned to update this first because like, THE PLOT THICKENS?

No reply from you. You stared at it blankly until he gave a message again.

'Please play the song American Idiot by Green Day for me... I'll be listening to the radio whenever it's your shift, please don't forget that.'

You wanted to laugh at the text but there was no use.

As the Green Day songs ended, you were to speak again. Your lips quivered, but you knew he was listening. With a shaky voice you spoke up, "F-For so many years, I still wonder how they still look the same!"

"Here's my first single-request ever. This request came from a person who was dear to me. I hope he's still ok. And yet again, it's another Green Day song!" You beamed, being energetic.

The song played, and as the airplane flew swiftly through the skies, he had the radio app on.

Alfred listened to your first show shift with his ear-phones. He looked out the window as tears drew up in his eyes.

He covered his mouth as sobs almost became audible to the person beside him.

But moreover, he was proud of you. Really proud of you. He was desperate to be with you... But he already bought a ticket and there's no turning back now.

His airplane landed, and as he exited the plane, your show ended. He heard it had great ratings– from people and site opinions.

"(Y/n)..." He mumbled to himself. Having that moment, he blushed to himself thinking how awesome you would look in the studio.

As he listened to the song– which he was kind of offended by– he retrieved his luggage and continued to look for his secretary, Brina.

"Alfred! Over here!" Brina shouted when Alfred was cluelessly waddling around looking for her. Brina had dark brown hair and tied it in a tight bun– to look more formal.

He pulled the hood on of his black hoodie so no one could recognize him. They rushed to the limo; his driver did wait a long time there.

"Hey Al! Brina why'd you took long?" Vic questioned. Vic had bright blonde hair and was energetic for a man near his 40s.

"Well, we wouldn't have if Alfred didn't walk so fast" She sighed as she sat on the passenger's seat.

Alfred hopped on the back seat and smiled, "Yo, Vic! Long time no see!"

He laughed, "Yeah! When was the last time I saw you? 8 years ago? Hah, you never worked out back then!"

They both laughed and did a fist-bump while Brina laughed. They had been close friends ever since they had the job. Alfred was always childlike and friendly, but in business times he was serious– so they managed with him.

"So, Brina, where am I going to stay from now on?" Alfred asked opening a water bottle.

"Well, it's a beautiful place, really... But..."

"But what, dude?!"

"NO COMMONER'S COFFEE!!" She joked.

"NOOOOO!!!" Alfred buried his face on the seat as he cried.

"Ok, you'll be living at a condominium, a famous one actually." She sighed and looked outside the car's window meanwhile Alfred was still crying about the fact that there's no commoner's coffee.
