A Bump In The Night

I woke up in the middle of the night, needing to use the restroom. I groaned quietly, afraid if I was any louder I'd wake Mari. I definitely was going to need to get used to not having my own bathroom. I slid on my fuzzy slippers and put on my glasses and padded my way down the hall to the bathroom. I could barely see anything and I wasn't even twenty feet from my room when I bumped into someone. Again. At least I wasn't holding a drink this time,
"Sorry!" I whispered. I heard the person fumble around for a second before pulling out what was probably their cell phone and turning on the flashlight, blinding me temporarily. When my eyes adjusted to the light I saw that the person I had ran into was a boy that was a bit taller than me. He was handsome, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He didn't seem mad, and was in fact smiling at me shyly,
"It's okay. I'm just trying to find the bathroom but I couldn't see anything" he responded quietly.
"Me too! We can look together" I whispered as we continued walking, the boy using the flashlight on his phone to light our way. We were both finished and back outside my room within a matter of minutes.
"Thanks for helping me find the bathrooms" I said, "oh, by the way, my name's Molly" I reached out my hand to shake his,
"I'm Matt, but most people call me Sohinki" he responded, shaking my hand.
"That's a cool nickname"
"It's just my last name" he said, brushing off my compliment.
"Oh, that's cool too" I said with a smile. "It was nice meeting you, maybe I'll see you tomorrow morning?" I asked. He simply nodded in response. We whispered a quick 'bye' to eachother as I entered my room and quickly went back to sleep.
