A Fun-Filled Day

We were all enjoying our Saturday morning in the lounge on our floor, since none of our rooms were big enough for our group. We were aimlessly chatting away, Hannah rattling off more stories from when she was in Scotland while she sat in Wes's lap. They were really hitting it off and I was pretty sure Wes was gonna ask Hannah to be his girlfriend soon. Hannah hopped off Wes's lap and came over to sit on mine,

"Hey Mollyyyyyyyyyy gay marriage just got legalized in Scotland! Let's run away and get married!" she said over dramatically as she sprawled across my lap and put her legs on Sohinki's, who was sitting right next to me with an arm around my shoulders. He pushed Hannah's legs off his lap,

"Hey, that's my girlfriend you're talking to" he said as he tightened his grip on me. I smirked slightly at the fact that he was getting jealous,

"You can share! She's my girlfriend too, riiight?" Hannah asked, looking at me. I nodded,

"Yup, sorry Sohinki I've been cheating on you with Hannah" I replied with obvious sarcasm and pecked Hannah on the cheek. Sohinki look to Wes for help but he was just watching us and smiling. Sohinki looked more upset as he looked back at us so I have him a reassuring smooch as everyone else groaned and told us to get a room. I pulled away from him and looked around the room and looked around at everyone else,

"So are we going out today or are we just gonna hang out in here the rest of the day like a bunch of losers?" I said as I pushed Hannah out of my lap and onto the floor and stood up. Everyone started talking at once and I couldn't understand a word they were saying, so I yelled at them to shut up and the room went dead silent,

"How about an amusement park?" I suggested. Everyone seemed to like that idea so I quickly googled where the nearest one was, "45 minutes away" I announced. It was times like these that I was glad Anthony and Wes both had cars. We all packed stuff up for the day and left at around 11. Anthony, Ian, Kalel, Mel, and Lasercorn went in Anthonys car and Wes, Hannah, Joven, Mari, Sohinki, and I went in Wes's car. We spent the entire way there chatting about school and classes and plans for summer break, which was rapidly approaching. It was going to be hard to see eachother since we were all from different states and Hannah would be going back to Scotland for the summer, but we promised we'd Skype and try to visit eachother over the break.

We got to the amusement park and met up with the others,

"So do you all want to stick together or split off into groups?" Anthony asked us. I suggested we stay together for a while and then split off into groups after and everyone agreed. We all decided to get lunch first and made our way to the food stands. We ate quickly so we'd have more time to explore the park. As soon as we were done we split into groups, Anthony, Ian, Kalel, and Mel in one, Me, Sohinki, Joven, and Mari in the second, and Hannah, Wes, and Lasercorn in the third. We agreed to meet back up at 4 so we'd have time to get dinner once we got back to campus.

The four of us went around the park and rode every roller coaster we could. It was so entertaining watching Joven and Sohinki run ahead of us to each coaster in excitement. Mari and I watched our respective boyfriends endearingly,

"They're like little kids" I said as I watched them sprint towards the next coaster, "but I can't help but love them" I sighed happily. Mari nodded in agreement,

"I'm really gonna miss everyone over the summer, though" she said sadly. I felt a pang of sadness rip through my heart knowing that I wouldn't get to see any of these amazing people during our summer vacation. Mari noticed my change in mood and asked me what was wrong,

"I really want to hang out with you guys during summer break. Why do we all have to live so far away from eachother?" I sighed. Mari put a reassuring arm around me,

"We'll figure something out. Maybe we can all go visit Hannah in Scotland over the summer" she suggested. I smiled at that,

"Oh gosh, she'd go ape shit if she found out we were going to Scotland to visit her" I replied with a grin. Mari winked at me,

"That's the point" she said as we arrived at the next coaster. We quickly found Sohinki and Joven, who were both already almost at the front. We were lucky enough to get seats in the first two rows of the car and soon we were off. The ride was over a few minutes later and I checked my phone when we had exited. I gasped in surprise,

"Shit! It's 3:45! We should probably head back so we can meet up with the others" I suggested. Joven whined,

"Aw come on! One more ride?" he asked giving me and Mari puppy dog eyes. I sighed in defeat,

"Fine, but we get to chose" I said, gesturing to Mari and myself. We walked along towards where we were meeting the others. Mari and I scanned for a ride that we wanted to go on. She nudged me when she found a ride she liked and pointed to it. I looked and immediately grinned at her. Joven looked to where Mari had pointed and immediately groaned,

"The Tunnel of Love? Really?" he asked. Mari didn't give him a choice as she grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the ride. I watched them go and looked back at Sohinki, who looked hesitant,

"Do we have to...?" he asked nervously. I sighed.

"Yes. You're my boyfriend, aren't you?" I asked. He simply nodded his head and I grabbed his hand and led him to the ride. We got in the boat right behind Mari and Joven. We were enveloped in darkness, I couldn't see the look on Sohinkis face but I knew from the way he was gripping my hand he was nervous,

"Are you okay...?" I whispered to him. I felt him shift next to me,

"Yeah...just nervous" came his mumbled response. I scooted closer to him and rested my head on his shoulder. I felt him relax and he put an arm around me,

"You okay now?" I asked, looking up at him through my eyelashes. He smiled down at me before kissing me gently,

"Yeah" he said after pulling away. We enjoyed the rest of the ride in comfortable silence. It was over as soon as it started, though, and as soon as we met up with Mari and Joven we had less than 5 minutes to meet the others. The four of us broke into a dead sprint, hoping we'd get there in time.
