As soon as the couple went out, the mother rushed to Baekbom's room.

"Baekbom! Wear your clothes! Quickly! I have a mission for you!"

"What? Whats happening? What is it?" Baekbom questioned in a startled way, and quickly getting off his bed and wearing his clothes.

"Okay listen to what i'm going to say, your brother is gay and he just went out with his crush. They are just friends but they both like eachother. I want you to see if Chanyeol, his crush is trustworthy. I want you to see every move he takes. Now quick! Follow them before you loose them!" The mother quickly blabbered and pushed her son out of the front door.

As soon as he noticed them, he followed them and tried his best not to be caught.

"Do you mind if we wander around the park? We can get icecream!" Chanyeol asked the petite boy, who nodded hesitantly.

He never liked the park. It was where everything started.

But he accepted the giant's request, only to not be suspicious.

The giant noticed the sudden gloomy aura, but decided to shrug it off.

They made their way to the gate of the park. Chanyeol suddently noticed the shakiness in Baekhyun's actions; his steps, his hands, his lips-- not to mention his glassy eyes.

"Hey," the giant said in full concern, gently caressing his crush's back, "are you okay?"

The smaller only faked a smile, and nodded his head multiple times before whispering in a shaky voice, "i'm fine."

Chanyeol wasn't convinced. He held the petite boy, and led the both of them toward one of the benchs.

"You're clearly not okay Baekhyun. Please be honest to me," the taller said, rubbing the flustered boy's back soothingly, "tell me what's wrong."

"I don't want to be a burden." Baekhyun muttered under his breath in a broken tone, but Chanyeol didn't fail to catch that.

He sighed, before pulling the puppy-ish boy for a hug. "I thought we talked about this. You will never be a burden to me. In fact, i'll appreciate it so much if you could trust me, and tell me whatever bothers you. You have me; a shoulder to cry on, and ears for you to open up."

Baekhyun felt touched at the sudden outburst.

He felt butterflies fiddeling in his stomach. It felt good to know that someone actually cared, to know that someone was willing to be by his side in joy and sorrow. He never knew that something as simple as that could make him feel the biggest amount of gratitude and happiness.

Chanyeol was undeed a life savior, a gardian angel, a hero that didn't wear a cape, but a soothing, charming smile instead.

Baekhyun returned the hug and held his friend as tight as he could, burrying his face in his chest. He felt comfortable and glad as he sniffeled his manly cologne, and listening to his heart that was beating in a steady, slightly fast pace.
