War: Part two

Natsu

I couldn't believe it. Why was Gray threatening to fight me?

"Natsu, we're going to fight until death. And there's no backing out." Gray sternly spoke through his clenched teeth. I knew what we were getting at.

"You're going to regret this."

Lucy

I was pulling my waist through a tiny hole in a cement wall.

"Great... just what I needed." I was stuck because my waist was too big.

"I need to lay off of those chips..." I sighed frantically, still trying to pull my waist as hard as I could through the tight space.

"This isn't going to work." I gave up on pulling through so I decided to pull myself back out. Bad idea. It was easy to get in, but sadly... it wasn't easy to get out. My boobs were like hooks; once they were in, it was impossible to pull out. I heard a familiar laugh in the distance. I looked in front me and just barely made out two figures facing each other in the distance. I squinted my eyes through the kicked up dirt to get better look but the smoke reached my air pipe in my throat and caused me to cough rapidly. After it cleared up, I saw him. No them. Nastu and Gray. I shivered in excitement but that died down fast when I noticed that they both had serious faces. Gray, looked weird... half of his body was black. Was that the demon his father passed down to him? On the other hand, Natsu... his entire self was black, including his flames. What was going on?

"Nat-!" I was stopped when I felt something crawl up my shoulder blade. My eyes bugged when I met a huge looking centipede lightly touching my cheek with its long whisker.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I screamed, freeing myself from the tight little space with my arms out in front me. I stopped and touched my back to make sure it wasn't there. I sighed in relief when I felt nothing but my skin. Remembering about Natsu and Gray, I snapped out of my horrid thoughts and looked back at the two, which were still staring at each other intensely.

"What's up with these two?" I whispered to myself. I walked out from behind a wall to walk towards Natsu but paused when I saw his face. It kind of scared me... He looked angered, like as if someone he truly cared for, was in trouble. It was written all over his face. Same went for Gray.

"I'm going to kill you." Gray pointed a finger directly at Natsu's chest. Natsu launched forward with his fist cocked back.

"Not unless I kill you first!" What!?!??! There going to kill each other!! I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.

"Stop!!" I screamed knowing that this wasn't going to end well, but they didn't bother to look at me coming. I might be sacrificing myself for these two idiots, but it's worth it.

Running in between Natsu and Gray, I stopped and put my hands up in front of them.

"Stop!!!" I cried. A punch hit my left cheek, knocking me off of my feet and landing on a body. Groaning at the pain on my face, I felt myself being carried bridal style in someone's arms. Who's arms was I in? Natsu's? Gray's?

"Lucy...? You're alive..." I felt a water drop hit my forehead. I slowly opened my eyes to look into onyx ones. Tears fell down his cheek and onto my face. He broke away his gaze with rage and looked up in a different direction. Natsu...

"Unforgivable." His voice changed and I felt his flames of anger.

"N-Natsu..." I coughed, feeling liquid fall from my lip. Natsu set me down and spoke.

"I'm going to kill you." His entire body engulfed in black flames. I sat up, holding my cheek and feeling dazed.

"Natsu, please stop." He just stood there. This magic energy... its... so strong. His arms grew large and his fingernails turned into 3 inch claws. I felt my body shake in fear, knowing that if he wanted, he could rip me to pieces in seconds without hesitation.

"Finally, E.N.D." E...N....D...? N-natsu...no... it couldn't be.

"Natsu....?" I whispered. He turned his head and I saw something I never thought I would ever see in my lifetime on a human being. Horns.

"Stay back, Lucy." I flinched at the sudden change in his voice. It wasn't the sweet 'ole Natsu's voice. It was something else... Like the demon inside.
