"Hey Luce?"
"Yes, Natsu?" I spoke with certainty.
"How can I be so dumb... I should have realized the connections we have grown together... I just thought we could be friends forever...but lovers? Never thought about it until that day."
My cheeks blushed at the thought.
That day Natsu and I almost made love was the reason for this all. We have never burned for each other so much in our life, until that day.
I smiled and closed my eyes.
"Don't you start regretting it now!" I punched his arm and laughed.
"Of course not!! I could never. Deep in my heart, I know that I love you, Lucy. And if anyone ever put a finger on you, I will end them. And that. I promise."
I giggled.
"Oh Natsu!! You don't have to sound so dark about it!"

"LUCYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard the most faint scream.
Something wasn't right, what happen? Am I dead? No.
It feels as if I was being chocked, but why? But how? I could barely breathe and I could barely move, I was in so much agony.
I felt that my body was being airborne and my toes were not touching the ground. Slowly, I felt it.
Someone was choking me. I grabbed the hand that was around my neck and squeezed as hard as I could to get some leverage. I got a brief gasp of air and then it hit me.
A jab in my gut, over and over until I couldnt feel it anymore.
I didn't make a sound, and my body slowly felt lighter.. as if I was drifting on cloud. It was numb, everything.
Before I knew it, I just barely felt my body being lunged onto the pavement underneath me.
Natsu
"LUCYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed frantically as I watched Zeref grab Lucy by the throat.
Holy fuck. She's going to die. Lucy is going to die right in front me and I was stuck.
Lucy suddenly moved her hand to Zerefs and gasped for air and then the air went stale. Zeref stabbed her. Not just once or twice but three times right in her stomach. I was shocked and my blood ran cold.
I shook with anger and my eyes grew tired.
I looked down and cried profusely and I heard a loud thunk and I knew... exactly... what it was...
Darkness overturned my vision and anger replaced my sadness...
This was the end and I will not be turning back.
