Lucy

All I remembered before passing out, was Natsu being tied up in front of me in a chair and Brandish was about to gouge my eyes out. I looked around and saw Natsu nowhere in sight, just Wendy and some of the crew.

"Where's Natsu...?" I asked lightly.

"When we arrived, he wasn't here." Grandina replied.

"M-monster!" I turned my head toward Diamria who was laying in the wall behind us.

"He's a monster!" I sat up but a hand pulled me back down.

Natsu

Everything was hazy, and my head felt like it was going to fall off my shoulders. I looked around me and noticed that I was firmly tied to a wooden chair I was sitting in. I looked up to see Dimaria on top of Lucy, with her arm raised in the air. Reality hit me and I was knocked out of my trance when I saw a 5 inch blade in between her clenched fist. I broke free from my ropes and punched Brandish in her spine. She flew into the brick wall with blood spattering from her mouth. I pulled Lucy's head into my lap and stared down at her blank face. Her eyes were submerged in Brandish's blood.

"Lucy! Lucy! Why won't you wake up! Lucy!" I yelled, feeling tears prickle into my eyes. She wasn't moving. Was she dead? Was I too late? Rage filled my body like deadly poison. Something snapped inside me like a firework and that's when I realized I needed to kill Zeref. I stood up and left Lucy there unconscious, hoping that Erza or Wendy or Levy or someone would find her here.

"I'm sorry..." I whispered and walked away with flaming rage.

"Zeref,... you're going to pay."

Lucy

"You need to rest." Grandina spoke sternly, but I continued to sit up without paying a attention to what she had to say.

"No, I need to find Natsu! He could be in trouble!" I was finally standing on my feet while holding my right arm.

"Let me at least heal you little bit first." I nodded and plopped harshly down on my butt. Wendy palmed my chest with both of her hands and softly chanted something with her eyes closed. I felt my energy suddenly regain back and all the pain in my wounds fade away.

"There." Wendy pulled away and stood up.

"Thank you Wendy." Feeling energized and ready to go, I stood up and followed a blood trail, hoping it was Natsu's not the enemy's.

"Natsu!" I cupped my mouth and screeched. "Natsu! Where are yo-" My foot slipped off of the edge of a broken building which caused me to fall down and hit my knee. I winced and grabbed it.

"Lucy!! Are you okay?!" I sucked my teeth and stood up, ignoring the pain.

"Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about me! I'm going to look around to see if I can find Natsu!" I replied.

"Just be careful Lucy!" I nodded up at them and continued to walk through the broken and crumbled cement.

Natsu

This feeling. This anger...this rage. My mind was going crazy. I don't know if Lucy was alive right now but even if she was, I was going to give Zeref a serious beat down for hurting Lucy, my best friend, my teammate, my everything. I cared so much for her and she could be dead. This angered me further.

"Natsu." A dark voice called out behind me. I turned around to meet face to face with Gray Fullbuster. It was hard to believe that it was him. I barely recognized him... Half of body was black and his eyes were telling me he wanted to kill someone.

"Get out of my way, Gray." I warned. But he didn't budge.

"Move." Still, he didn't hesitate.

"MOVE!" I screamed. This wasn't working.

"I came here to defeat you once and for all." What was he talking about?

"I'm not telling you again Gray."

"I'm not going anywhere, until I defeat you, E.N.D." My heart raced in my chest.

"I'm going to kill you, Natsu Dragneel."
