Natsu and Gray are going to kill each other! They can't! We're a team and doesn't matter how hard times will get, we're always there for each other! I needed to stop them!

"Natsu! Gray! Stop!" I screamed. I ran behind Natsu, grabbing him around his waste and holding him. I didn't care if he killed me right now, I wanted this to stop! We can't lose each other like this. No. Not like this!

"Please stop Natsu! This isn't worth it! We're a team remember! I don't want to lose both of you because of this insanity! Come back to me Natsu! Don't let E.N.D control you like this! I love you!" I screeched. Did I really just tell Natsu Dragneel I loved him? My heart started to pound against my rib cage. This idiot doesn't even know what love is.

"Lucy..." His voice made me shake. I looked up at him only to meet the side of his face and his eyes stared down at me like daggers. I realized the black flames started to fade away as well as his claws. His horns shrunk back into his head and his body turned back to its original color. I continued to stare deeply into his eyes; wondering if what I said got through to him somehow.

"N-Natsu...?" I felt his body go limp in my arms.

"Natsu!" I yelled when he fell blankly to the ground. I cupped his face in my hands.

"Natsu! Can you hear me?! Wake up please!" A cough abrupted from his lips.

"So you love me, huh?" He said smirking and slightly opening his eyes. I layed my head against his chest and cried.

"You big idiot! I thought you died." I said with tears spilling out of the corners of my eyes. A hand rubbed the back of my head.

"Hmph." I heard a rumble from his chest.

"Natsu, you're E.N.D. You can kill someone and that's why I'm here to finish you off." Gray walked over and spoke sternly. Natsu laughed and stood up.

"Ha!"

"But Gray its Natsu. Please." I begged with tears running down my cheeks. Gray still continued to walk to Natsu with that killer look in his eyes.

"It's okay Lucy. I'll take care of this." He said with a smile. I didn't know what to say, there's no way to get Gray to snap out of it. He was inches from Natsu and I.

He stared down at me with the same look. I was scared. Is this even Gray anymore? Did the demon his dad pass down take control of his body? But just as I said something, the black markings on his body started to disappear and smile crept on this face.

"But we are a team. Don't make me regret this Dragneel." He said holding out a hand. Natsu chuckled with his one eyes closed shut and grabbing a hold of Gray's hand.

"We'll fight some other day." He said with a wink and a thumbs up.

"Hmph." Suddenly the ground started to shake and crack into pieces.

"Its an earth quake guys!" I yelled.

"Run!" And we did, we ran as fast as we could through the broken and falling buildings, but of course, I'm the one being left behind.

"Natsu! Gray!" I screamed and right above me was a large chunk of cement falling. I ducked my head and waited for it to fall on me but it was taking too long so I looked up to see both Natsu and Gray holding it right before it hit me.

"Grab her Nastu! We need to get out of here!" Natsu ran to me and swooped me off my feet into bridal style.

"Hey, you still got Virgo's key?" He laughed.

"Of course!" I summoned her.

"Transport us to a safer place!" I commanded.

"Yes, princess." She grew into a huge, fat maid and grabbed all of us into her hands. She grunted and gravity changed and then went back to normal. She gently put us down.

"There you are princess. I must attend the ceremony. Farewell."

"Thank you Virgo!"

I brushed off the dust on my shirt.

"That was a close one." It was weird I didn't get a reply, so I looked up and saw Gray and Natsu staring at me, blushing. I furrowed my brow.

"What?" I looked down and saw my skirt and panties were missing. Crap!

"Stop! Don't look at me!" I squealed and bent down onto my knees.

"It's not a first." Natsu said dully. I growled and just when I was about to look up and beat him down with back stabbing words, a fluffy pair of pants landed on my head. I looked innocently at the clothing and realized it was Natsu's.

"You need them more than me." He said putting his arms behind his head. I blushed.

"You'll need a lesson with me on flirting." Gray smiled.

"Who said I was flirting??" Gray shrugged his shoulders.

"The lady did say she loved you right?" He smirked. I felt my face go completely red. I looked up at Natsu to find him staring at me with his cheeks a little pink too. Crap...why is this happening?
