Natsu

Lucy wasn't acting like her normal self. I didn't understand why she looks so afraid of me. I would never hurt her or even think of doing it.

"Hey Gray-" I stopped and sniffed something unusual and disgusting. It tasted sour. Something red caught my eye. I looked down at my shirt and saw I was covered in blood. What the hell? Thats what that odor came from but why was I covered in blood? What's the big deal? Did I miss something? Was... That why Lucy looked scared of me? What... Did I do? Honestly, all I remember was getting mad at that "fake salamander" guy because he touched Lucy and then everything blacked out. What... Exactly happened?

"Natsu, go wash off before someone sees you." Gray exclaimed. I looked at him.

"What did I do?"

"Gray, what did I do?" I asked confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Why... Am I covered in blood?" I looked at both Gray and Lucy.

None of them answered.

"Tell me." I said grabbing Lucy's hand. She stopped and started crying.

"You killed someone Natsu." Gray spoke up. I bugged my eyes.

"Killed...someone..?" I killed someone? What?!

"I knew you were too dangerous to be alive. I should've killed you when I had the chance." What the hell is wrong with this guy?

"Natsu, Gray didn't mean it..." This pissed me off. Number one, why was I covered in blood and number two why is Gray telling me he wished he had killed me? I'm so lost... I understand I killed someone but why and how? I was pretty furious when I saw him touch Lucy but not enough to ACTUALLY kill someone, just give them a face full of my fist. Igneel... Help me...

"Natsu?" I snapped my neck up to look at a very worried Lucy.

"I'll be right back." I said as I started walking towards the river that streamed silently along the road. I dipped my hand in the water and started wiping off the blood. I became angered when the blood wouldn't come off. I ripped my shirt off and tossed it asided as well as my boxers and jumped into the cold water that stung my skin.

"Ahh..." I let a sigh out. This felt so much better. I don't feel as dirty. I need breaks like this more often; I'm stressed to the max. All this fighting got me hungry... And sleepy. Ugh. What is there to eat?

"Hey I'm going to go take a wash as well Gray. I think Natsu is at the other spring we passed by, so if you need him you'll probably find him there." I heard Lucy in the distance.

"Okay. Just be careful. You never know if he's going to change into E.N.D." I rolled my eyes and sighed. What a jerk.

"I'll be fine. It's Natsu. He'd never hurt me." I heard her giggle. Man. Why the hell is everyone so worried about me killing someone? I don't kill people. I don't even like the word "kill". A twig snapped behind me on shore and I quickly turned around to see Lucy undressing herself. I blushed and turned away and hid behind a nearby bush that hung over the waters surface. Crap!  I didn't think she was going to bathe here! Great. Now I'm going get caught and she's totally going to think I'm a pervert. I sighed a huge sigh and just sunk my body into the water until it hit right under my nose.

"Oh my god its cold." I heard Lucy complain. Okay. Just one peek. I looked carefully around the bush and couldn't believe what I was seeing. She had her hair down and her face was just beautiful. She looked like the water goddess. She was walking in the water and suddenly she slipped and disappeared under the waters surface. I laughed so hard and then hid behind the bush.

"Ah! W-who's there!" Man, I'm going to hell for this..

"Oy, Luce." I came out from my hiding spot and smiled.

"You've got to be kidding me!!! Grrrr! You big pervert!!!" she said covering herself.

"I was here first." I said crossing my arms.

"Then fine. I'll be leaving. Hmph!" She said walking away. I stood there still with my arms crossed but my arms ached to grab her.. Ugh! It couldn't be helped. I ran to her before she even got to shore and grabbed her arm.

"Don't go." I said looking away and blushing.

"W-why?" I looked at her and saw that her face was extremely red.

"Maybe its because I don't want to be left alone in this creepy place." I said letting go of her and looking away, crossing my arms over my chest. "Trying" to act calm about the situation.

"U-um..okay." She said. This was awkward. Why didn't I just let her leave? I needed to figure a way out of this or this won't end good... not for her at least.
