Chapter 4: Moment of Truth: MCWO Judas Quisling: Feb, 20, 4995

I walk into the room and sit on the rolling chair and go right up to him. "Mr. Reaux, how are you? You have been out for about a week now."

"I'm so out of it, I have no idea what is going on."

I announce out "PFC Smith, go get his facebot and go get Corporal Flynn then you are dismissed as Reaux's battle buddy." I wait until he closes the door and I hear the heavy click of the door. "I have had time to do research on you through your face bot, medical records, and your military records."

He looks at me confused and concerned but doesn't say a word. He looks like he is about to say something and after an awkward pause "your demeanor has completely changed since your last mission and there's the fact that you are gay now. You are lacking several genes that you are supposed to have but you have different genes as well, so I know you are not Mr. Reaux. What are you doing here? How did you replace him? I can only see so much through the face bot because it retreated to 30 meters when it sensed the bounce of grenades so it couldn't see anything except the smoke then the lights turning on. What happened under that viaduct?"

The door swings open really quick and the guy in the bed just shivers fearfully. The one at the door introduces himself "My name is Corporal Larry Flynn, Mr. Reaux, Sergeant Chief here has briefed me on what is going on and I have been assigned to be your new roommate because I know you are a fake. I want to help you, but I need to know the truth about everything."

The man on the bed adjusts himself "you both caught me; I am not this Dude Reaux that you keep talking about. My name is Dorian I don't know my last name. My daughter was in the rubble. I promised her I would be back for her and my dad told me to attempt to overthrow this cast system we have in this country. I promised him, then I shot him in the head. I understand if you want to send me back down, I'm thrown into this, I just want her safe!"

Flynn immediately says "you have been transferred to the right place. GOC unit which is where you will be from now on stands for Gay or Caring unit. If you want to get everything done, I can help you get training, that of a soldier, and military equipment for you and whoever is going to help. Just like I'm sure that Master Chief Warrant Officer Quisling won't tattle on me or discipline me for this."

I say nothing for a little while just let the whole thing marinate into Dorian's mind. After a little more awkward silence he looks me straight in the head and goes "So what happens next?"

"Flynn wants to get to know you, he filed a formal complaint of you being on drugs, so your stuff from your room all gets thrown out in case there is drugs in them, you will be fitted into new uniforms which is perfect for you being a different person. Then because he is wrong, he will be forced to be your roommate. You will be in a quarantine room for 2 weeks after we make sure that you are safe here.

After that is done, I will file an "information retrain form" which will make you have to go through the parts of basic training "again" it will be going through all of training in a matter of about 100 weeks just like you used to in this country before it took a year to get through basic training but much longer. And one thing I could do during your recovery is give you a surgery to reintroduce white muscle into your body, that is a recent jump in human DNA, and we have a lot of trouble with that. So that surgery is very common and the person you took over had always two to three times as much as the normal person. After that surgery, you get to go to the gym's personal trainer daily for the next 10 weeks and daily steroid shots and testosterone to promote muscle growth like you would not believe. How does this sound?"

"I always wondered how everyone was able to handle that much weight without issue, being that strong sounds pretty cool."

"Ok, well you two start hanging out, I'm about to go get that paperwork started here's your emergency button in case you need to get a hold of me. By the way, everyone knows who you are supposed to be and they know who your "father" is and that I have been your only doctor since birth and know to do nothing to you except for like give you food and they can bring you things of comfort nothing medicine wise, that is all me"

"Thank you so much for all this help, I'm going to make my family proud."

I walk into the next room and realize he might need to learn about the history of what is going on around here. So I go into the archives and find some videos so old that they have thumb drives that go into the slots in the Facebot to be able to be viewed instead of direct 3D viewing holograms, that were transferred from burning binary code onto your finger, that the lenses of the facebot can read. I walk in there and Dorian is touching everything, after seeing him knock over a can of tongue suppressors, I lose my temper "Dorian! Flynn! What the fuck?!"

Flynn tells me "but he is not doing anything damaging"

Then Dorian says "But now that I'm here, I've never seen anything like this stuff before, it's so awesome!"

I clear my throat "Flynn, you're an idiot, you couldn't prevent this huge mess, so you clean it up, while he watches something. Dorian, you need to calm down or you will end up in a psychosocial unit. Now lay on your bed and watch some history of what is going on here, total time is 4 hours, I should be done with all the paperwork by then.
