Chapter 5: The Ferris Wheel

"Alright guys. It's time to go on the Ferris Wheel. You guys ready?" asked Namjoon. "AYE! I'm hungry!" exclaimed V. "Yah us too." agreed Suga, V, and Jin. "Why don't we get hot dogs?" I suggested. Everyone seemed to like the idea so we decided to go in the direction of the ferris wheel and grab a hot dog on the way. "8 hot dogs please." I said. 

I payed for the hot dogs and handed them out one by one to everyone. Everyone ended up going back for a second one especially Jin and J-Hope. "Everyone set?" asked Namjoon. "Yah." we all said. 

It was getting dark and the expression on Jimin's face changed dramatically. "Jimin... You okay?" I asked. "Yah I'm fine. Just a little nervous about the whole Haunted House thing at night. I'm still a little scared." he explained. "I'm not even going to hear you say it another time. And I'm not going to tell you another time..." Right before I could even finish my statement, Jimin grabbed my arm. 

"I have my right you know. This place is creepy. I'm telling you something odd is lurking around here. I saw it on top of the entrance sign when we first arrived, I saw it by the bumper cars and I saw it when we were at the top of the roller coaster. I'm telling you. We need to leave." he said sincerely. I snatched my arm away from him. J-Hope and Kim saw us talking and rushed over. 

"Is there a problem?" asked Namjoon. "No. Not with me." Jimin said as he walked away. 

"What was that all about?" asked J-Hope. "Nothing... Jimin just being a jerk." I stated. "Yah he can get like that when he's really passionate about something. What was he saying to you anyways?" he asked in a concerned matter. "Oh its nothing you should be worrying your cute little self with anyways." We looked at each other and hugged. 

He lifted me into the air and then plopped me back down suddenly. Kim looked back and saw the two of us. "Hey can I catch up with you later?" Hobi asked. "Sure. " I said. He waved goodbye and went to go and talk to my brother. I hung back with Kookie, V, and Jin. "Looks like love in paradise." stated Jin. " Ha ha. Very funny Jin." I said as I nudged him. "I'm serious, you guys look really happy together." "Yah... Until he breaks your heart." stated Jungkook. 

"What do you mean until he breaks my heart?" I asked confused. "You know what I mean. He goes from girl to girl. What makes you think that he isn't going to do the same with you." I felt myself coming to tears but I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of the guys. I quickly wiped my tears away and leaned on Jin's shoulder. "I don't think he will do that to you." stated V. "He seems to really like you. 

Over the years, he's told me her actually does. I know he has done things in the past, but I think your his Miss Right if you know what I mean." I laughed at the silly pun made by V. "Thanks V.  At least someone has hope." I looked at Jungkook harshly. 

We finally made it to the ferris wheel and when we did, it lit up like a million and one stars right on earth. "Wow! Isn't that a gorgeous sight." I said. "Yah it truly is." agreed Jin. Jin, V, and Jungkook left me behind so they could pair up for the wheel. "Eun-bi. Wanna go up with me?" asked Hobi. I looked at Namjoon who appeared as if he were heartbroken. "Um.. Yah. Im coming. Just give me a second."

 I ran over to Kim. "I see that look. I can say no you know." "What look are you talking about?" asked Namjoon. "You know what I'm talking about Kim. Don't play dumb. I can say no. I came over hear to ask you if it was okay." He looked at me face to face. "I will let you go if you just answer my one question." he said. "And that is." "Do you really like him? Or are you just going along with his game?" I took a minute to answer the question. 

" Namjoon, I liked him since day one. The only reason why I'm showing him my affection is because he's showing me his. And if I didn't like Hobi I wouldn't be. So the bottom line is... I like J-Hope." He looked at me puzzled for a moment. "Alright. Go ahead sis. I trust you." he kissed me on my forehead. I gave him a big hug. "Thank you." I whispered in his ear. I let him go and ran towards J-Hope. 

"Ready?" he asked. "Yup lets go." I said. This ride was made for 2 people so it was just perfect for the 2 of us. We sat in the car and we began moving instantly. "wow! Don't the stars look beautiful tonight?" he said. "Yah. Something about them seems extra sparkly." I looked into Hobi's eyes and saw them twinkle in the moonlight. I leaned on his shoulder admiring the view of the carnival from the top. 

"You know J-Hope. I have to say something that I probably should have told you a long time ago... And I think now is a good time because I've made it kinda obvious but... I'm going to say it anyways..." he looked into my eyes with anticipation. "I like you J-Hope." he looked down then back at me. "I like you too Eun-bi... I've liked you from the beginning. I just never told you. I was always afraid you wouldn't fall for a guy like me." he said. "What does that mean?" I asked him. "You know.. I would think you would want to be with a guy more like Jimin or Jungkook. Not little old me." I looked into the distance.  

"Hobi, that doesn't even matter. I don't like them like I like you. I can't talk to them like I talk to you. I like you because your cute, funny, understanding, and considerate." he blushed as I said that. "I like you because you make me feel like I've never felt before. You give me my hope. You make me a better person." I blushed a whole lot when he said that with a big smile on my face. My smile later turned to a frown. 

"What? Why are you so sad all of a sudden?" he asked. "It's just that.... Namjoon..." he put his finger on my lip. "Don't worry about your brother. I will talk to him." he lifted my chin up and brought me closer to his face. "You are my only concern because..... I love you Eun-bi." J-Hope then kissed me with his soft pink lips. 

When it was all over, I was blushing like crazy. He couldn't stop smiling either. I gave him a hug and leaned on his shoulder. We rode the rest of the ferris wheel in peace and quiet observing the scenery and each other.
