Chapter 6: The Haunted House

When our time on the ferris wheel ended, J-Hope and I were still happy and blushing about what happened on the ferris wheel. When we stepped off of the ferris wheel, Kookie and Namjoon were still on the ride. When they came off, they were laughing hysterically. I didn't know what was so funny but all I was worried about was J-Hope. I felt soo much better since I told him that I liked him. 

It made me feel great to know that he liked me too. "Ready to go to the haunted house?" he asked me "Yah. As long as I'm with you Hobi." He smiled and looked at each other as we waited for the others to gather. "Alright guys. It's time for the Haunted House!" announced V. V had been waiting all day just to go in the haunted house. He was really into scary things. 

Kim started leading us back the same way we had come before. I had no idea why but I trusted him. Speaking of trust, I needed to make sure I could trust J-Hope. "Hobi. I need to ask you something." he turned and looked at me. "Anything my love." I chuckled and then spoke. "Can I trust you?" I said shyly. 

"Of course. I would never do anything to hurt you." he said in a loving voice. "I don't just mean like the simple kind of trust... I mean the "you won't cheat" trust. I really like you and it would break my heart if you ever cheated." We stopped walking for a minute. "I would never do anything to hurt you Eun-bi. You are the best thing that happened to me and I can't take any chances of losing you." I looked at him and he kissed me on my cheek. "Okay. I said. I leaned on his shoulder and we continued walking. 

As we continued walking towards the haunted house, it became clearer in view so much that you were able to see the top of it. Jimin ran behind me and whispered in my ear. "Look on the top of the house and tell me you don't see what I'm talking about." I lifted my head off of Hobi's shoulder and looked at the top of the house. 

As I looked, I saw a shadowy figure with really long legs and arms that looked like it was over 6 feet tall. I looked back at Jimin with a very scared and worried look on my face. When we finally did reach the house, I realized that it wasn't as I had expected. The House was HUGE and it was more of a ride than a walkthrough. 

When you walked through the door to the house, there was a man in a butler's outfit seating you in your car. Hobi and I shared a car and Jimin and V got in the one behind me. Jimin had a look of terror on his eyes which suddenly made me want to cry. 

I looked back one more time but Jimin was already out of sight. I looked forward and leaned closer to J-Hope and squeezed his hand tight. "Are you afraid?" asked J-Hope. "Yah..."I said. "It's a little scarier than what I had expected. 

"Don't worry." he said gently. "I'm here. Im your Hope... I'm your angel." he whispered. I suddenly felt much better and I leaned back in my seat and snuggled underneath J-Hope still holding on to his hand tightly. The ride wasn't scary at first. Just a few ghost machines and fog. At one point we were going upwards just like we were on the roller coaster. 

I hugged J-Hope and he put his arm around me. When we reached the top, we could see all the other cars down below us. From the view, I was able to see the entrance. I stayed close to J-Hope when suddenly I heard a lout scream and then a bang. 

I looked behind myself to see the cart behind me and saw Jimin and V. Jimin looked as white as paper. As I was looking behind, I felt the track begin to fall. "J-HOPE!" I screamed. "I got you. Don't worry." I began sobbing into his sweatshirt. "I'm scared." I mumbled. We suddenly felt another small disconnect between the cart and the track. The ride stopped. I heard another scream and this time, it was louder. 

The track separated some more and Hobi and I were dangling from the cart at this point. "HOBI! Don't let me go!!! Please!" I felt J-Hope's grip suddenly tighten. The track loosened again. This time, bringing J-Hope with it. He slid into me causing the entire track to fall apart. The next thing you know, everyone was falling from the sky. "J-HOPE!!!!!!!"
