Aren't you hungry?
My best friend,
Naomi,
asks.
No,
I say,
Covering my lies with a mask.
Eat, Preslee.
She orders,
Pushing a heaping pile of
Calories
In front of me.
Don't you touch that food,
you fat ass!
Ana hisses.
It's alright, Preslee.
Eat.
Eat all you want;
I have a way to make it all go away.
Mia coos.
I'm not hungry,
I imply forcefully,
Eyeing the food.
Preslee,
If you don't eat,
I'll shove
It down
Your throat,
Naomi threatens.
I'd like to see her try,
Ana purrs into my ear.
Mia laughs
As Ana spills
Naomi's water
Onto the now
Soaked,
And
Soggy
Food.
Naomi stands in the
crowded, school cafeteria.
You got off
Easy today, Preslee.
She says as
She saunters away.
Bitch,
Mia taunts.
She's just jealous,
Ana informs me,
She
Hopes
And
Prays
And
Wishes
On falling stars
To look
Like you.
Mia smiles, agreeing
You can't make it
Without us guiding your way
And we've given you beauty
At such a small price to pay.
And we've managed
To keep Annie at bay.
Anna giggles,
And her fingers slip
Over my open mouth.
Mia's right.
We've only helped you.
