~The Next Day~
I woke up for another day of school, yet today I actually wanted to go. It would be the last time that I got to see my friends and everyone else for that matter.

I got ready and waited for my mom to be done so she could drop me off.

I got in the car and waited for about 5 minutes until she finally hopped in the drivers seat.

She started driving and there was a silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was more of a "I don't know what to say" silence until she finally spoke up.

"I think that you and your friends should have a little girls day tomorrow before we leave. What do you think?" Mom asked

"Ya I definitely agree." I responded.

"Maybe we could have a sleepover today and then go to the mall."

"Alright you tell them about it and when you guys get home I'll be there ok?" Mom asked as we pulled up to my high school.

"Alright. Love you." I said as I hopped out of the car.

"Love you too."

I walked into school and saw my friends waiting at the lunch tables.

"Morning guys *sigh*." I said.

"What's wrong? You look down." Amanda asked.

"I have to tell you guys something

"I have to tell you guys something. I'm-"

"Oh shit! Look there's y/c/n." Renee shouted.

I turned around only to see my ex-bestfriend

I turned around only to see my ex-bestfriend. "Dammit!" I said. All the girls started to laugh which got me frustrated.

"Guys I'm serious I have to tell you some thing."

"Alright, alright. Continue." Emili said as she controlled her laughter.

Although I've only known these girls for a couple years I feel like we've grown up together and I don't know what I'm going to do now that I'm moving

Although I've only known these girls for a couple years I feel like we've grown up together and I don't know what I'm going to do now that I'm moving.

I sat down on the bench and gathered their attention.

"I'm moving." I said blatantly.

"What? Why?" Madison asked as she stood up and put on a serious look.

"My mom got a job promotion so we're going to move to North Carolina

"My mom got a job promotion so we're going to move to North Carolina."

"Can't you do something?" Renee asked.

"I could but I'm not going to. She looked like she really wanted this job and I'm not going to take that away from her or make it harder. Plus it would be good to get out of this place because of everything and everyone."

"I understand" Amanda said sadly "but you can't just keep running away from your problems, you know that right?"

"I'm not running away." I snapped.

"When are you moving?" Renee asked.

"Sunday," I replied.

"Oh."

"I got an idea, maybe we could have a girls day tonight," Emili said.

"Exactly what I was thinking.-" I said smiling.

Riiiiiinnnnngggg

I got cut off by the bell. "We'll talk more about this at lunch."

I got to my first class, math, and sat in my usual seat behind y/c/n. He has a girlfriend named Sam, but she left a couple weeks ago. She's staying somewhere with her family for a holiday. She'll be back later this month, which is why I'm so eager to leave and why Amanda told me to stop running away. Ever since she started to date y/c/n she has made it her mission to make my life a living hell.

The thing is me and y/c/n kind of have some history which made her jealous or upset even though we never talk anymore

The thing is me and y/c/n kind of have some history which made her jealous or upset even though we never talk anymore. We don't talk much except for the casual "what's the homework," or "Can I have a pencil," but we used to talk... a lot. Our moms worked together and they were best friends in high school, so we were kind of forced to hang out when we were little and we grew up together. We were best friends for a long time and we basically grew up in each other's houses, but when we were going into sixth-grade things happened. He became popular and the star football player while I stayed my normal self. He, not surprisingly, left me for the popular people and acted like he didn't even know me. He is such a jackass. Our parents think we're still acquaintances, but I hate his guts.

Throughout the rest of the period, I just took a nap.

Before I knew it, it was already lunchtime.

I got up out of my chair and packed up my bag.

I went to the lunch area and sat down at my table with my lunch.

"So.... I think we should have a sleepover." I started until an all too familiar voice spoke behind me.
