A Dark Love Story

Chapter 1

Yvanna's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. At this sudden noise, i found myself rolling off my bed and onto the floor. "OW" I screamed. My sisters laughter could be heard from my doorway "Haha how does the floor taste". I grabbed my hardcovered book and threw it at her hitting her head and causing her to fall over "I DON'T KNOW YOU TELL ME". She lifted her hand to her head and blood dripped down her hand "Ow you're lucky mom and dad aren't here". My parents are never here. They're always busy working. I picked up my phone and saw that i had gotten a text from my mom

Mom: Hey sweetie. Ya know that really old property that we own. Well, we're gonna sell it. But it's really dirty and nasty and it won't sell the way it is now. I already talked to your friends parents and you and your friends are gonna spend a month or two there cleaning it up and making it presentable. Me and your dad are going on a business trip and can't fix up the place. You three will leave tomorrow.

I face palmed "Are you kidding me". My mom always does this. She decides things at last minute without even talking with anyone first. At this point i didn't even care. I just shrugged it off and went to take a shower.

When i got out of the shower i was home alone. My sister had already gone to school. I got dressed in a green tank top, a black sweater, back jeans and black converse. I did little of what i could for my messy hair. I couldn't really do much. Then i grabbed my backpack and phone and headed to school.

First period was terrible. I had math. I tried and tried to pay attention but i get bored easily. I put my headphones on and fell asleep.

I was awoken by two hands pushing me out of my seat. Hitting the ground with a loud thud, I looked up and saw Brooke staring at me with a devilish smile. "Ow Brooke what the hell" i said as i slowly got to my feet. Still smiling she said "sleep well". I glared at her "no not really". She laughed "c'mon it's time for second period". I groaned in annoyance and walked to my second period.

Finally it was the end of the day. I had fallen asleep in all of my classes. They're all so boring. Just then i spotted Alisha running towards me. She tackled me to the ground. "What is it with me and falling today" i said laughing. Alisha stood up and held out her hand to help me up. I grbbed her hand and stood up. Brooke walked up with Carisma. Brooke was about to say something but before she could my friend Devin came up behind me,  took my phone out of my hand and ran off. "DEVIN GIVE IT BACK". I ran after him. We made it to a dead end and he was cornered "Devin give me my phone back" i said trying to grab ot out of his hand. He lifted my phone up above his head "i want my pen back that you stole from me". I rolled my eyes. I had stolen his pen as a joke but he didn't know it was me. I guess he found out "really Devin".  He smiled "yup". I gave him his pen back and reached for my phone. "There now give it back" i said jumping up and down trying to grab it. He handed me my phone "Thanks". I snatched my phone back and headed home.

When i got home i packed all of my things into a small bag and went straight to bed.

I woke up to someone jumping on top of me. I opened my eyes and saw Alisha's smiling face. "Good moring von von". I smiled and gave her the biggest hug "morning Lisha Pisha". I rolled out of bed and saw Brooke and Carisma. "Hi guys" i said, as i opened my closet. "I really should take a shower". Alisha started looking through my clothes. "No no we don't have time just get dressed". I rolled my eyes and put on a light blue tank top, my white sweater, blue jeans and my black converse. Then i put my messy hair up into a ponytail. I grabbed my bag full of things that i had packed the night before and we headed out. We went in Brookes car and headed towards the woods.

The whole ride Alisha kept asking "are we there yet". I was about ready to jump out of the car. Then we finally pulled into the driveway. "Oh thank god" i said swinging open the door of the car. I looked up at the big house. "Dang this place is old" Alisha said. She was right. There were some broken windows and some were boarded up. "Why do your parents own this place" Carisma asked walking up to the door. I shrugged "i don't know". I unlocked the door with the key my mom gave me and we walked in. We looked around and turned on the lights "this place is big" Alisha said with an excited tone in her voice. We walked around the place for a bit. When we were done it was about 7:30pm. It took a really long time to drive here. "Maybe we should get to sleep" Brooke said "we can try to fix up the place tomorrow". I nodded my head and headed upstairs.

When i got upstairs I found a nice cozy room. I started unpacking my things when i heard a knock. I turned around and saw Alisha standing in the doorway "Von von..can i share this room with you..just for now. Until we get more settled in". I could tell she was a little scared. I don't blame her. This place is pretty creepy. "Of course" i said smiling. Then she jumped onto the bed and was knocked out. I laughed. I took my shoes off and layed next to her. I lifted myself up to turn off the lamp and something outside caught my eye. As i stared out the window, i could see a dark figure staring back at me. We stared at each other for a few seconds but when i blinked, it was gone. I looked over at Alisha and she was still sleeping. I turned the lamp off ignoring what i saw and drifted off to sleep.
