A Dark Love Story

Chapter 2

Yvanna's POV

I woke up almost falling out of the bed. I turned my head and saw Alisha spread out all over the bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked out the window and remembered what i had seem last night. I stared at that exact place where the black figure was standing. I was so confused at what it was. "I think i just need some water" i said out loud.

I walked dowmstairs and saw Brooke and Carisma trying to start up the fire place. "Oh good morning Yvanna" Brooke said "hey do you mind getting us some wood". "Sure" i said in a tired tone. I grabbed my shoes from upstairs and headed outside.

I walked into the woods and started grabing sticks and branches. I grabbed as many as i could and started walking back. Just then, i heard the sound of footsteps. I stopped dead in my tracks and looked around. No one was there. I continued to walk and once again, the sound of footsteps could be heard. This time i didn't stop, i ran. I started running in the direction of the house. I could hear the footsteps coming up close behind me. I kept running as fast as i could. Suddenly i was pushed to the ground and I hit my head against a tree. I felt the back of my head with my hand and blood dripped down my arm. I could feel someone standing over me. My vision suddenly got blury. I looked up and could barely see a blury dark figure standing over me holding a knife to my neck. That's the last thing i saw before everything went black.

Brooke's POV

Me and Carisma waited for Yvanna to come back with the wood. "Maybe we should go see what's taking her so long" i said a little worried. Carisma nodded in agreement. Just then Alisha came down looking very tired "hi guys". I walked over to the door "Hey Alisha we're gonna go look for Yvanna" i said turning the door knob. She got a worried look on her face "What happened to her where is she". Me and Carisma looked at each other then looked back at Alisha "we don't know" i said "we sent her to go and get wood like and hour ago. She still hasn't come back". Alisha started crying "what if something bad happened" she said with tears dripping down her face. I gave her a hug "im sure she's fine. Maybe she just got lost". I wiped Alisha's tears "everything is gonna be fine". She nodded her head and we all headed into the woods.

Alisha's POV

I was so worried. Yvanna is my best friend and i couldn't help but cry. Once we entered the woods we started looking around and calling her name. In the corner of my eye, i saw a random pile of branches just laying next to a small tree. I walked over and saw a blood stain on the tree. I gasped and fell back. Brooke and Carisma rushed over and saw the tree. Their reactions were no different. I couldn't help but just sit there and cry. "That could be from an animal" Brooke said. She helped me up "lets go back to the house. Maybe she came back".

When we got back to the house she wasn't there. Brooke had called the police since it had already been two and a half hours since Yvanna had left. I cried more and more. She could be in trouble. I stayed in me and Yvanna's room the rest of the night, praying that she was alright.

Yvanna's POV

Slowly but surely, the darkness faded away and i started waking up. I looked up and saw a bright light. I covered my face with my hands and sat up. I suddenly realized that i was laying on a hard metal floor. My vision was still a bit blury. I tried to stand up but collapsed as i felt pain all over my body. I looked down and saw that my shirt and pants were ripped and i had bruises everywhere. Just then i heard the voice of a child "are you ok" it said. I looked over to my right and saw a little girl. She had long brown hair and ripped up clothes. She was bruised very badly and had a bloody cut across her face. I shook my head "I..I don't know..who are you". "My name...is Ive". She said looking very terrified. I looked her up and down "What happened to you" i asked getting a little worried. She buried her face into her ams "That man..he" she stopped and started to cry. I crawled over to her and sat next to her putting my arm around her "he what sweet heart". She looked up at me "he...beats me. He did it to you to. He made me watch". Suddenly my heart dropped. "Are we the only ones here" i asked as a tear rolled down my face. She shrugged "i don't know. Another girl was in here before you but...she killed herself". More tears rolled down my face. Just then, that same dark figure busted in the room. He was wearing a long black cloak and i couldn't see his face. "Oh..look who's awake". He said crouching down in fromt of me. Suddenly my grip on Ive tightened. He put his hand on my cheeck. I forcefully bit his hand and he jumped back. He put his hand around my neck making it hard for me to breathe "your mine now understand". I couldn't say anything so i nodded. With that, he let go and left me and Ive alone once again. I took a deep breath and held Ive in my arms "we're gonna get out of here i promise". She looked up, smiled and hugged me "i hope so".
