A Dark Love Story

Chapter 7

Alex's POV

I sat against Yvanna and Alisha's door in the dark hallway. I rarely ever sleep. It had been a few hours of me sitting there when i heard Alisha crying. I got up as fast as i could and opened her door. She was crying but still sleeping. She was having a nightmare. I rushed over to her and put my hand on her cheek. She opened her eyes and cried even more. My heart hurt so much seeing her like this. I layed next to her in the bed and pulled her as close to me as possible. She stared up at me still crying. I looked into her eyes "shh it's ok it was just a dream". She was shaking so bad. I held her even tighter "Alisha calm down it's alright. Im here baby girl". Her crying stopped and she looked up at me. She tightened her grasp around me "th-thank you" she said. I was about to kiss her forehead but she lifted her head up at the last second and my lips pressed against hers. We both pulled our heads away immediately. I felt my face turn red "um..s-sorry". I started getting up. I was embarrassed. She grabbed my arm "no..please stay..it's fine". Her face was red as well and wet from her tears. I layed back down and pulled her close "ok..ill stay". Then we both driffted off to sleep.

I woke up and Alisha was still nuzzled up against me. She woke up and looked up at me. Her face turned bright red "uh h-hi". I smiled "hey". She smiled back. Just then Travis barged in "HEY GUYS WE'RE GONNA---". he stopped at stared. "What is goin on in here". Alisha jumped out of my grasp and out of the bed "Uh n-nothing we were just u-uh trying to stay warm y-yeah it's really cold in h-here". Me and Travis both laughed. "But uh what were you saying". Travis continued "Oh right. Me and Alex are going on a murder spree". I sat up "we are". Travis nodded "Yup. You wanna join us Alisha". She smiled "sure".

After we got dressed we stole Brookes car and headed back into town.

When we got to the edge of the woods we parked the car. We all put black ski masks on a headed out. Travis stopped at a really small house kind of far away from everyone else. "I've had my eye on this place for months. A women, a man, and a little girl lives here". I laughed creepily "let's do this".

We slowly walked inside and the mother was sleeping on the couch. "Ill get the mom" i whispered. Travis nodded and Alisha followed behind me. I put my hand over the womens mouth and she woke up. She started struggling to break free. She slapped me and started pulling on my mask. I cut her arm and blood dripped down her arm. Just then she got a good grasp on my ski mask and pulled it right off. She looked at my face and weakened. "Seeing my face isn't gonna do anything for you". She pulled my hand off of her mouth "Alex" she said. My heart suddenly dropped. I backed away slowly and bumped into Travis "the man and the little girl aren't here". I turned around and grabbed his arm "we need to go". I knocked out the women and pulled both Alisha and Travis out of the house. "What's going on" Travis asked. "Ill tell you in the car. Let's go".

We made it to the car "ok dude what's wrong" Travis asked confused. I took a deep breath "that women". Alisha and Travis both looked confused "who was it Alex" Alisha asked. I took another deep breath "that women...was mom". Travis looked like his heart melted "no..that's impossible...she's dead..you must've been seeing things". I shook my head "that's just it...i didn't even recognize her...she recognized me..she said my name". A tear went down Travis's face "mom is is dead Alex you're lying". I was surprised at this honestly. I've never seen this side of him. I mean i never saw much of him at all. He faked his death at 8 years years old. I think that's why he's acting this way. He loved mom but he just wanted to be forgotten. Just then, instead of getting in the car, Travis ran and disappeared into the woods. "TRAVIS STOP". Suddenly it started raining. Me and Alisha hurried into the car.

When we were about halfway down the road, the car broke down. "Ah great that's just wonderful". I turned over to Alisha. She was soaked. She looked so pretty with the water dripping from her hair. "Uh Alex...y-your druling". Suddenly i died of embarrassment "O-OH UH UM I-I WAS JUST UH NOTHING N-NEVERMIND". She started laughing "calm down Alex you're fine". I got out of the car "come on Alisha we have to run for it. It's dangerous to be out out this far into the woods". Alisha leaped out of the car and we started running.

Alisha's POV

We ran as fast as we could. We were both soaked. I looked to my right and saw a wolf running beside us a little bit further from us. My heart dropped as i started running faster. More wolves started coming out of the fog and we both stopped. Before we knew it, we were surrounded. I saw Alex looking at a cleared space where there was no wolves. He turned to look at me and held my hands in his "Alisha...i need you to run. The house shouldn't be too far from here...please run". I looked in his eyes and started crying "no Alex im not leaving you". Alex started crying as well "Alisha please go". I shook my head "no Alex im not--" before i could finish what i was saying Alex pressed his lips against mine. After about a few seconds he pulled away "Alisha i love you...please go. I couldn't forgive myself if something happened to you". I couldn't believe what had just happened. I nodded my head "o-ok". I turned around and started running. I looked back and a wolf had lunged at him causing him to fall. I cried more and more as i kept running.

I finally made it to the house and ran straight upstairs. I couldn't deal with anyone. I went into me and Yvanna's room and locked the door. Yvanna will have to sleep somewhere else. I curled up in the bed and just cried. I loved him. I really did. And i didn't even say it back to him. I kept crying until finally i cried myself to sleep.
