Chapter 8

Alisha's POV

It was the last week of the second month. I had stayed in me and Yvanna's room for two weeks. Well by this time it was just my room because Yvanna couldn't sleep in here anymore. I hadn't eaten in a while and i was starving. But, i honestly couldn't tell. I was too worried about Alex to even think about food. And Travis had disappeared as well. I heard Yvanna crying and taking to Carisma and Ive about it. Brooke was still gone too. I have no idea where she went. This whole two months have just been a disaster.

I woke up laying on my side. I sat up and looked out the window. I really wanted to go and look for Alex but what if he's dead. I shook my head and rubbed my eyes. "I need to find him" i said to myself. I grabbed a switchblade out of Yvanna's bag that she had left in here and headed towards the window. I leaped out and landed on my feet. But it was too good to be true. I lost my balance and fell over. "Wow" i said "i guess that was too good to be true". I stood up, put the switchblade in my pocket and headed in the direction of the town.

I made it to the place where the wolves attacked and found caution tape around it. I ignored it and kept walking. Then i finally made it to the edge of the woods and Brooke's broke down car was still there. There was caution tape around that too. I was real confused. I saw a lady walking by and ran over to her "um excuse me mam do you know what happened here". Her face was sad and gloomy "a very badly injured boy about 18 was found there. He was bleeding from head to toe. A girl found him while she was taking a walk and he was rushed to the hospital". My heart sank "did he..survive". She nodded "yes he did. But he's still in the hospital. He's been going crazy asking for this girl..i don't remember her name but he won't tell us who she is". I started panicking "how do you know all of this" she laughed "i work at the hospital" i nodded "i need to get there right now". She smiled "i can take you there if you want". I noddes really fast "please thank you".

I followed her and we got into her car. We drove to the hospital and i jumped out of the car. I ran in and right to the front desk. "Excuse me um my name is Alisha do you have someone named Alex here". The lady at the dront desk gasped "oh my goodness you're Alisha". I nodded really fast. She stood up "oh my goodness ok here let me bring you to him". The lady walked me to a big metal door. It didn't look like a hospital door at all "um...he's in here" i asked really confused. She nodded "yeah we had to lock him in here. He tried to kill many people saying that we did something to you. Here". She handed me a key "let me know when you're done". I nodded and she walked away. I unlocked the door and slowly walked in. Alex was sitting on a chair in the middle of the room. He must not have seen me because he said "if you're not Alisha then leave me alone please. I..i just want to know that she made it. That she's ok. I wanna say sorry and tell her how much i love her...i hope she forgives me". I put down the key and smiled as a tear rolled down my face "i already have". He looked up at me and started crying. He leaped up wrapping his arms around my waste and picking me up hugging me tight. I hugged back and cried. He put me down slowly and still didn't let go of me "Alisha..im so glad you're ok. I love you so much. Im so sorry". I pulled away and put my hand on his cheek "it's fine Alex". He shook his head "no Alisha...it's not..something happened". I was confused "what do you mean something happened". He sat back on the chair "i shouldn't be here right now...i mean im glad i am but...i shouldn't be". I was even more confused. What is he saying "Alex what are you saying". He looked into my eyes "i died Alisha". My heart dropped "what do you mean you died". He stood up "i died. That's the whole reason i wanted you to run because i knew there was no escape. But after i died...all i saw was a glowing light and then...i was back. I was laying on the ground with wounds all over not feeling the pain". My eyes widened. "Wait..so you knew you were gonna die" i asked still crying. He hugged and kissed me "Alisha im so sorry. I...i love you more than anything and i didn't want anything to happen to you". He put his hand on my cheek and a tear rolled onto his hand "A-Alex...i love you t-too". He hugged me again and picked me up bridal style "ok lets get out of here". He carried me to the window and leaped out landing on his feet. I was waiting for him to lose his balance and fall over. But he didn't. I crossee my arms "hmph". He laughed "what". I chuckled "oh nothing" i said smiling. He started walking still carrying me "uh..i can walk ya know". His face turned bright red "o-oh right sorry" he said putting me down "lets go".

Alex's POV

We ran out to the edge of the woods where the car was "hey..did you ever get a chance to talk to Travis" I asked. Alisha shook her head "Travis wasn't at the house. In fact he hasn't come to the house in two weeks". I suddenly got worried "wait what. Ok there's only two places he could be. With Jacklyn or Andrew. He'd have to go pretty far to see Andrew though. Ill text them both". She nodded. I took out my phone and decided to text Jacklyn first. Ill be surprised if he answere back. He never has his phone.

Me: Hey Jacklyn is Travis with you?

I stood there and waited for a few minutes until my phone suddenly buzzed

Jacklyn: Uh no why would that dumbass be with me

Me: Really Jacklyn you don't have to be rude

Jacklyn: Hey you can't tell me im wrong. I mean...he faked his death at 8 years old. That is the work of a dumbass.

Me: Ok...you do have a point.

Jacklyn: Exactly. I don't know where he is.

Me: Ok whatever bye

Jacklyn: Peace✌

"Well Jacklyn was no help at all" i said. Alisha chuckled. I looked at my phone again and started texting Andrew.

Me: Hey Andrew is Travis with you.

Id be surprised if he replied. Andrew is to busy being a rapist to look at his phone ever. That's why i was surprised when he texted me back.

Andrew: Oh yeah Travis and i were just catchin up why.

Me: ...Just catchin up. Wtf

Andrew: XD yeah i know it sounds weird coming from me.

Me: Well can you tell Travis to text me please.

Andrew: Sure thing lil bro

Andrew was probably the nicest out of us all. He can be an ass sometimes don't get me wrong. But out of all my brothers, Andrew is my favorite. Just then i got a text from Travis

Travis: What the hell do you want boy

Me: ...Well hi to you to

Travis: Cut the damn sarcasm and tell me what you want

Me: You need to come back Travis Yvanna is probably worried about you

Travis: I know...but im not gonna be gone forever. Just a few more weeks

Me: Uh if you ever wanna see her again you better come now. This is their last week here and im pretty sure her parents are not gonna let her date a fricken guy who tortures kids for his own amusement.

Travis: WHAT!! IT'S THEIR LAST WEEK WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU DUMBASS!!!

Me: Pfft yeah im the dumbass

Travis: Boy what did i say about the sarcasm. Ill be there tomorrow. Cya then✌

I put my phone in my pocket "ok he should be here tomorrow" i said. Alisha nodded her head and we ran back to the house.
