CHAPTER 02
good morning! pt. 2An unsatisfied growl escaped Elsa's lips as she felt her eyes beginning to open. Time to get up, time to start the day at..
She lazily rolled over in her queen sized bed, that had a mattress so rich-girl worthy she sunk into it, as if it were the sea. Looking through a forest of platinum blonde hair in front of her face, she spotted the time on the traditional grandfather clock (that movers somehow managed to get up two floors).10:37
She immediately brought her fists to her eyelids, hurriedly rubbing them and sitting up. She groaned, "God, I'm so late-" Her throat was dry and the taste of nothing was absolutely gross. It was that morning taste, where you haven't been eating for hours and the roof of your mouth has just been stuck to your tongue. Staring ahead, she gazed at the monster in the vanity mirror. Faded eyeshadow, hair that was everywhere except for being tied up in the elastic she had bundled it in, eyeliner that wasn't that badly smudged and a full luggage cart under some bright blue eyes. These were the results of beauty sleep at it's finest.
Tossing the Sherpa duvet off her legs, she looked around for her phone she had lost in a sea of sheets. Eventually finding it, she turned it on to find a few voicemails. Man- when did she fall asleep yesterday? She'd have a lot to catch up on today...
The light grey bubbles on her lock screen lit up the notifications:(3) Voicemails From: anna ♥︎

(23) EZ-MAIL
11 hrs agoShe set her palm to her forehead as she rested her elbow on her knee for support. Elsa closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She shook her head and hesitantly swiped at the first notification, unlocking her answering machine. She cringed at the sound of her own voice,
"Hi, this is Arendelle Estate, Elsa speaking. I'm busy at the moment, but leave a message and I'll be sure to return your call!"
I sound like a robot.
"Hey Elsa! So, um- I'm kind of busy this early morning, but I was wondering if you wanted to go pick out some flower arrangements with me at 10? Then maybe we'd have time to go out to lunch or something.. If you had the time, I mean. An opening. Alright, that's all I really had to say.. thanks."
"Hiya again, sorry... I didn't feel like I could work today and I told Punzie I couldn't do the shift. Hopefully Hiccup's holding up okay. Check on him for me, would you! ...Kristoff's keeping me company right now, but I'm just bored y'know. If you wanna talk I'm always here."
The answering machine informed her in a monotone voice, "Final message from this caller."
"Hey Elsa, Anna again. Um, so I guess the flower arrangement date is out of the question? That's okay! I'll pick out some nice ones for mom and dad, I'm sure. Just letting you know, we have a will reading this weekend on Saturday at the funeral home offices. It's an early one at 7:30, I figured you could plan ahead of time. Then we have the funeral plans on..."
There was a pause, Elsa heard muffled voices talking behind (supposedly) Anna's palm. Her sister's voice soon piped up again, yet it broke the second she got back to talking, "Okay, so if you don't want to go you don't have too, but we have funeral plans on Wednesday. Where we buy the coffin from the funeral home and arrange a date, that stuff." She giggled, "Better bring your credit card, unless we already have all the funds to pay for this. Anyway, Wednesday at 2:30 for funeral plans and Saturday at 7:30 for the will reading. I wonder if they're gonna give the business away- Huh, well, love you! Bye!"
