I then awkwardly got up and walked out the door. I hate being called somewhere because the entire class just stares at you.
As I walked out the classroom I saw my friends.
"What did you do?" I said to Shane.
"What?! Nothing!" he replied, "why'd you assume I did something?!"
"Because you're the only one that would do something like this. At least in class," said Gracie.
"That's not-" he said as he looked at all of our faces, "okay... fair point, but this time it wasn't my fault!"
"Okay I believe you," said Bridgette.
We then went down the stairs to get to the office.
"Well we're here," said Gracie.
"Hi, we were called down here," said Shane to the woman at the desk.
"Ah yes," said the woman, "can all of you please go through that door?"
"Yes," we all responded.
We all started walking towards the door and Skyler opened it.
"Gracie, Winter, Shane, Bridgette, and Skyler! Wonderful to see you!" said the boy from yesterday.
I rolled my eyes.
"Not this again!" I murmured.
"Couldn't you have talked to us after school?!" asked Skyler.
"Yeah, but I don't think you particularly like your foreign language class," he said.
Skyler just stood there with a confused expression on her face.
"Stalker," I muttered.
"No, well kind of. It's more like research Winter," the boy replied.
"So why do you need us here now?" asked Bridgette.
"Just to talk," replied the boy.
"Sure... Wait how'd you get in the school?" asked Shane.
"I have my ways," said the boy.
"Okay, let's cut to the chase. Why are you here?!" I asked.
"You'll find out soon enough. Let's just say something will happen before we meet again," he said as he disappeared.
We were all in shock. There was a pause.
"Well, I'm going back to class," said Skyler.
"Yeah, we all should get back," he said as he started to walk out the door.
Then we all walked out the door. I had so many questions. I wanted to ask them all, but I couldn't because I had Social Studies. Today we are going to start learning about the Revolutionary War. I honestly couldn't remember at all, or maybe I just had too many thoughts in my mind. By the time I'd finished thinking I'd arrived at my class. Then I took my classwork from the front of my room and took my seat.
"The Revolutionary War began in..." started Mrs. Jones.
I wanted to pay attention to the class, but I couldn't. I hated daydreaming in class. Other people saw it as a good thing, but I saw it as another way to fail the class. I mean you don't understand what you just learned and you'll probably need to apply it again another time. I've learned this the hard way in math. I always get tired in math so when I'm doing my homework I look at it like, what the heck did I just do?
"Winter, when did the Revolutionary War begin and end?" asked Mrs. Jones.
"Um," I responded.
I wasn't paying attention that much. Luckily the date was on my classwork."Well?" Mrs. Jones asked.
She knew I was a good student. When your not paying attention in class, it doesn't matter she'll call on you.
"The answer is from 1775 to 1783," I replied.
"Correct," she replied.
Phew, I was so worried she knew that I was looking at the classwork. The rest of the class I payed attention. Mostly because I didn't want to be randomly called on again.
•DING DING DING•
It was time to move to my next class, math. Maybe if I'd chosen regular math I would like math better. Nope! I had to choose accelerated. I always manage to like half fall asleep. I finished up some last note taking and started walking to math. As I walked to math my friend Jade came up to me again and pulled me to the side.
"Now I'm going to ask you again," she stated,"What. The. Heck. Did. You. Do?!"
"For the last time, I didn't do anything! It was just um," I started to say as I looked around to find some sort of cover up.
Then the boy appeared, looked at me, winked, and then people passed him. I looked back at Jade for a minute who was still waiting for my response. Then I looked at the boy, but he was no longer there.
"Something happened so the principal wanted to ask if we were okay," I replied.
"Sure..." she replied not buying it at all.
"I'm not lying!" I said. Even though I totally was.
"Then why did it take you so long to reply?" she asked.
"It's just hard to put into words without revealing anything that my parents told me not to say," I replied.
"Oh okay," responded Jade.
"We should get going to class. We've been talking so much that we might be late," I said.
"That's true, talk to you later Winter," said Jade as I started to walk away.
