Exciting.
The past few weeks have been so exciting.
Slowly, my confidence began to take dominance;
allowing me to spend more time with Haneul without fainting.
We spent more time together
in the dance studio
and outside the dance studio.
Getting ice cream after practice became a little tradition of ours.
I looked forward to it
during the week
and especially on the days that we had practice.
I've been close friends with her for awhile now ..
maybe four months ? five ?
I can't remember
because time stops when I'm with her.
She does something to me;
I don't know how though.
All I know is
my heart beats faster
my smile is wider
my stomach gets filled with fluttering butterflies
and I'm happier;
all because of her.
I couldn't hold off any longer.
Not being able to truly express how I felt
killed me inside.
I want to hold her in my arms
and tell her how ethereal she is,
give her all my love
& devotion,
to kiss her sweet lips,
and let the words "I love you"
slip out casually.

It was an ordinary night.
We were at the ice cream shop as usual after dance.
She licked the sweet dessert innocently,
letting it drip a little from the lips even sweeter than the ice cream itself.
All I could think about was "wow".
"Hobi ? Is something wrong ? Do I have ice cream on my face again ?"
"Hmm ? What ? N-Nothing's wrong, why ?"
"Because you're staring at me."
"Oh" I looked away, bashfully. "Haneul ?"
"Yes, Hobi ?"
"I-" I averted my eyes from the table, back to hers and something came over me.
"Min Haneul, I like you. A lot. Would you like to go on a date with me ?" I asked hopefully, gently grabbing her hand, not a tad bit nervous.
Our eyes were locked on each others for a moment.
The anxiety hit as soon as the words slipped out of my mouth.
What if she doesn't like me back ?
What if she says no?
What if-
"I like you too Hobi." She smiled. "I'd love to go on a date with you."
