Alec's POV
Damon walks out of his house and I work on his old car in his drive way. He looks panicked and stressed. My mind immediately goes to Nicole. Is she hurt?
"I have to go get my daughter, I'll be back," he says getting into his car. I take my shirt off and continue working on the car. My thoughts are traveling to so many places. Me killing someone last night, Nicole. She doesn't want me.

He pulls into the drive away again. He gets out followed by a older woman who looks like Nicole. Nicole gets out and glares at her mom, holding her arm. Her eyes trail me. "You okay?" I mouth to her. She shakes her head.
"Com-"
"I'll be in in a second mom," she says snappily. Her parents go in the house, leaving us alone. I drop the tool I was using and go to her. Her eyes are red from crying.
"What happened?" I ask, moving her hair. She looks up at me.
"I told my mom about Gavin," she says. I look at her in surprise. "She stupidly went down stairs and yelled at him about it before my dad even got there. She went outside to cool down and he, of course, took his anger out on me. I'm just done," she says. I rest my forehead against hers.
"Listen, its over now. Your with you dad. He'll protect you. I will too," I say. Her eyes meet mine.
"Why are you doing this? I'm nothing and you could be waisting your time with someone so much better. There's no reason fo-"
"I'm falling for you, Nicole. Hard and I'm too far down to just stop. I want to be done with hookups and random girls and alcohol. I want you, but you don't want anything-"
She presses our lips together. That tool would have landed on my foot if I hadn't put it down. I pull her closer to me and press her against the car, one my hands above her head.
Her hands trail down my bare back. She moans a little as I piss her jaw, her hand moving to my hair. I grip her hips a little rougher than I meant to. She moves her a little. "I might want to take a chance," she says. I smile and pick her up, her legs wrapping around my waist.
"Good," I say, kissing her nose. "So, your going to give me a chance?" I ask nervously. She nods a little. Her eyes are beautiful.
"Just know that I hate dates," she says. I laugh. I didn't hear the door open and close. Her parents stand there in shock. I'd used to parents not liking me.
"How long?" Her mom asks. We stay quiet. Instead of saying anything else, she turns and stomps into the house. Her dad stats glued in place.
"Uh, use protection," he says and walks off. Nicole buries her head in my neck. I kiss the top of her head. For the first time I'm actually happy and calm.
Nicole's POV
My smile is actually real.
