"I don't know what else to do Kirst. Travis won't leave Mitch alone," Scott sighs as he sits on Mitch's bed, watching as the younger boy sleeps peacefully. He passed out about an hour ago after Scott calmed down. Scott felt bad about how he reacted but he couldn't help it. He had every right to react like that after learning that Travis kissed Mitch again.

"Oh boy. What did he do this time?" Kirstie asks.

"What didn't he do?" Scott scoffs. "Kissed Mitch without his permission and tried to get back with him I think. Mitch came home and had a panic attack, thinking I was gonna hurt him," he frowns. "It broke my heart to see him like that."

"Why would Mitch think you were gonna hurt him for that?" Kirstie asks curiously.

Scott's eyes widen, remembering that Kirstie doesn't know about his relationship with Mitch.

"Um, I don't know. Like I said... he was having a panic attack. He didn't know what was going on and didn't know what he was saying. The point is he was scared," Scott says. "And seriously. What am I supposed to do about Travis? He keeps tormenting Mitch. I just want Mitch to be happy for once in his life. He's already gone through enough and now this?"

"Maybe you should get the police involved," Kirstie suggests.

"And for what? Bullying?" Scott scoffs. "They don't care about that stuff."

"Travis isn't just bullying Mitch. He's abusing him and manipulating him," Kirstie argues.

"Yeah but that doesn't mean anything to them-"

"Aren't they the ones who helped Mitch with his dad? Now Mike is in prison, away from Mitch..."

"That's a whole different story and you know it," Scott snaps. He glances over at Mitch when he stirs in his sleep. Scott bites his lip and quietly stands up from the bed. He walks out of the room so he doesn't wake Mitch up. "Mike is his father. Travis is just another student being mean to him."

"Well, what am I supposed to do?" Kirstie asks, sighing with frustration.

"I don't know," Scott frowns. "I'm just worried that things are gonna get worse."

"You're just gonna have to keep a close eye on him, and protect him as much as you can. If things get worse, than I would suggest getting the police involved. I can't do anything unless he does something at school. I know he slapped him but we don't have that evidence," Kirstie says.

"I think the bruise on Mitch's cheek was perfect evidence," Scott mumbles.

"Yes, it was... but we didn't have proof that Travis- you know, what? I'm just gonna look into getting better and more security cameras. This is supposed to be a school that doesn't tolerance bullying," Kirstie says. "I was bullied too and I don't other kids to have to go through the same thing that I did at school. School should be a safe place for them."

Scott smiles. "Thanks, Kirst. I just really care about Mitch and he doesn't deserve this,"

"Scotty?"

Scott looks over as soon as he hears Mitch's voice.

"No need to thank me. I understand. I would be worried too if I were you," Kirstie says.

"Hey, I have to go. Mitch is calling for me," Scott bites his lip slightly.

"Okay. See you on Monday," Kirstie says. "Bye!" She hangs up on him.

Scott sighs as he also hangs up, and then he walks to Mitch's bedroom. "Yes, sweetheart?"

Mitch looks up and sighs in relief when he sees Scott. "S-Sorry. I just thought you left,"

"You don't have to worrying about me leaving," Scott smiles as he walks over to Mitch and sits down. "I was just talking to Kirstie on the phone, that's all." He explains.

"Hopefully not about me?" Mitch asks nervously.

"Don't worry, you aren't in trouble," Scott chuckles.

"It's weird dating someone who is so close to the principal," Mitch blushes.

"I can imagine it is," Scott laughs, and then he leans forward and gently kisses Mitch. "Feeling better?"

"A little," Mitch shrugs. "I'm sorry for earlier."

"You don't need to be sorry about anything," Scott reassures.

"But I don't like acting like that in front of people," Mitch frowns as he looks up at Scott.

"You can't control when you have panic attacks and that's okay," Scott says softly.

"Um, can we have dinner? I'm... kind of hungry," Mitch blushes.

"Sure," Scott chuckles. "I'll cook something up real fast." He kisses Mitch once more before jumping up from the bed. "Hey, do you wanna help?" He looks over at Mitch.

"I've never cooked anything in my life," Mitch says. "I don't think that's a very good idea."

"Well, I'll be there to help you. You're gonna have to learn eventually," Scott smiles.

"Okay, fine," Mitch whines as he pushes himself up. "But it's on you if I burn the house down."

Scott chuckles. "I'm sure it'll be fine," he grabs Mitch's hand and helps him up.

After successfully cooking a meal, the couple ended up cuddling on the couch.

"So, just to be sure... we are still a couple?" Mitch asks, looking up at Scott.

"Yes," Scott says, looking back at Mitch. "I already told you..."

"I know, I'm sorry. I was just making sure," Mitch mumbles. "You had the chance to leave me and I..."

"Leave you? Why would I leave you for something that wasn't your fault?" Scott frowns.

"I'm never gonna be able to please you and I'm never gonna be able to..."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa-" Scott says as he sits up. "You think that's what I care about?"

"Well, no but-"

"Mitch, I don't care about any of that. I'm with you because you truly make me happy and I smile whenever I'm around you. I don't want you for sex. That's not something I crave. I love your personality and you're so innocent and sweet. You don't let others change you. I could go on and on about why I love you," Scott says.

"Don't. I'm already blushing," Mitch whines as he covers his cheeks.

Scott smiles and grabs Mitch's hands. "I love how easily you blush whenever someone compliments you, and you're cute smile, and your beautiful eyes," he kisses both of Mitch's hands.

"Scotty," Mitch giggles and shakes his head.

"I-" Kiss. "Love-" Kiss. "You." Kiss.

"I love you," Mitch mumbles as he buries his face in Scott's chest.

"Just promise me that you won't go near Travis anymore? If you see him, turn around. Don't even say anything to him. He's just going to try to manipulate and use you," Scott whispers as he hugs Mitch.

Mitch nods. "I'll try but he can be... aggressive," Mitch sighs.

"If I have to I'll get the police involved and I really don't want to do that,"

"I already have had bad experience with the police so I'd appreciate if you didn't either," Mitch mumbles.

"I know, I'm sorry sweetheart," Scott whispers as he holds Mitch close.

"At least I'm here with you now, and not with my dad..."

"Hey... let's not think about him right now, okay?" Scott suggests.

"Okay," Mitch takes a deep breath and slowly nods.

"I love you," Scott whispers as he gently kisses Mitch's forehead.
