"Is your eye feeling better?" Scott asks when Mitch walks into the living room.

"Kind of," Mitch sighs before plopping down onto the couch.

Scott chuckles as he watches Mitch. "I'm sorry that happened to you,"

Mitch shrugs. "It's whatever," he mumbles. "I'm used to it by now."

"You shouldn't-" Scott sighs, knowing there is no use in arguing with Mitch. He hates that Mitch got hurt today. Scott hadn't been there to protect him like he should have been. Scott wants to do something that can help Mitch be happier and enjoy school more. "Mitchy, have you thought about homeschool?"

"No!" Mitch yells. "I don't want to do homeschool."

"Is there a reason why you don't want to?" Scott asks curiously.

"Because, it's just giving in to the bullies. If I do homeschool that means that they've won. I shouldn't have to quit public school just because of a couple of bullies," Mitch says.

"But I'm tired of people hurting you," Scott argues. "You shouldn't be getting bullied like this."

"I'm gonna be a senior next year, Scott. I only have one more year to get through and then I'll be free and I'll never have to see those dickheads again, okay? Please don't make me do homeschool," Mitch begs.

Scott stares at Mitch in shock. He's never heard him speak like that before and he's surprised.

"Okay fine but if it gets any worse than this then I will seriously consider making you do homeschool. I know you don't want to give in to the bullies but your health is more important to me," Scott says.

Mitch sighs and lays down so that his head is resting on Scott's lap. "I don't wanna talk about bullies anymore. We're home now and home is safe so let's not talk about it anymore," he mumbles.

"Okay sweetheart," Scott whispers before he runs his hand through Mitch's hair.

Mitch turns slightly so he's lying on his back, and then he looks up at Scott. "I wanna dye my hair,"

"What?" Scott asks, blinking a few times. "Where did that come from?"

"I just... I wanna do something different," Mitch says. "I like my hair but brown is just boring."

"You're not doing this because you want to impress the bullies, are you?" Scott asks.

"No," Mitch scoffs. "Though it probably would help because you know how people at school are,"

"Yes, I do know-" Scott rolls his eyes.

"Come on, please Scotty. I've never done anything crazy before. It would be fun!" Mitch sits up.

Scott bites his lip. "Well, what color were you thinking?" He asks.

"Blonde," Mitch smiles. "I don't wanna do something too crazy on my first try."

"I guess we can do that," Scott sighs in defeat. "Okay, fine. I'll text Kirstie. She's dyed her hair many times so she's pretty much an expert when it comes to dying her hair."

"Okay!" Mitch claps excitedly. "Besides, it's just hair dye. I can always change it back if I don't like it."

"A good point," Scott nods. "I just don't want you to feel like you should change yourself to fit in."

"I would never. Besides, I don't want to be friends with people at school. They're horrible,"

"That's my boy," Scott smiles and reaches over to kiss him.

Scott texts Kirstie to come over and to bring blonde hair dye.

However Scott and Mitch quickly get bored while they're waiting which leads to a heated makeout session on the couch with Mitch lying on top of Scott.

"Fuck, Mitch..." Scott moans as Mitch kisses his neck.

Mitch smiles and continues to kiss Scott's neck but pulls away the second he hears the doorbell ring. "God damn. She always ruins the moment," he whines before sliding off of Scott.

Scott laughs and kisses Mitch once more before walking to the front door. He opens the door and smiles when he sees Kirstie, but the smile fades when he sees Kirstie standing there with her arms crossed against her chest looking not very happy at all which worries Scott.

"Hey, what's up?" Scott asks as he nervously let's Kirstie inside.

"You know there's a thing called windows that I can see through, right?" Kirstie asks angrily.

"Wh-What do you mean?" Scott asks, biting his lip slightly.

"I can't believe you Scott Hoying!" Kirstie yells as she hits Scott harshly on the chest.

"Ow!" Scott yells as he rubs his chest where Kirstie hit. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Maybe next time you should be a little more careful next time because I don't think I was supposed to see you kissing Mitch," Kirstie snaps as she crosses her arms against her chest.

"Oh shit!"
