"Alex! Dinner!" His mom shouted. In response he can running into the kitchen. He loved his parents and his parents loved him. Only 7 years old. He was well behaved and polite. Got A's in school and made friends easily. He ate his dinner quickly and went off to bed. His parents tucked him in then smiled and left the room. His consciousness ebbed away. Soon he was fast asleep. His mom and dad made their way to their room. After getting comfy and saying goodnight, they too drifted off into the void of unconsciousness. They weren't aware of the two hooded figures outside their backyard. "Dark on the count of three." The girl said. "Got it." "1...2...3!" Dark kicked down the door at the same time Jade touched her lighter to the wall. It instantly was set ablaze. Jade thought. We have about 2 minutes until someone notices. Hopefully everyone is asleep. She ran through the now flaming door. Dark was 10 feet in front slowly creeping towards the stairs. Jade pulled out her knife. Dark took out his blade as well. Dark walked up the stairs his footsteps quiet. The fire had reached the kitchen. It would be upon them in minutes. Smoke filled their lungs as they pulled their jackets closer to them. Jade headed towards the parents room. As she walked in she saw them still asleep in their beds unaware of their looming presence. The fire had reached the stairs. She needed to end it quick. She pulled out the heavy rock from the backyard. She lifted it up into the air then down onto the woman's head. Blood coated the pillows and sheets as well as Jade's hands. The man woke up. Jade dropped the rock and got into a fighting stance. The man got up realizing what had happened. He screamed and lunged at her. She made a sharp strong hit to his neck and he fell. It was over. Next the child. She followed the hall and into the open door at the end. A little boy staring silently and afraid in his bed. Dark standing over him. "Are they gone?" He asked. "Yes." Jade pulled out her spray bottle of sleeping gas and a small cloth. Covering her nose she sprayed it onto the cloth. She walked over to the boy and gently put the cloth on the struggling boys nose. He fell asleep immediately. They picked him up and jump through the window and into the night as the whole house became cloaked in fire. Sirens wailed in the distance.
