Rissa woke up back in the cell, Alex right next to her. She was shaken up and confused. Scared even. She looked over at the boy unconscious beside her. Her older sisters words flashed into her mind. "Never fall in love, Rissa. It only ends in heartbreak. The more you care, the more you have to loose." She had said. Rissa repeated those words out loud. He, flashed through her mind. His smile, his laugh. A small grin crept onto her face. He could almost hear him saying "Goodnight Partner." Thinking she was asleep. She hasn't been the first time he said it. Her head drooped down. Thinking of her sister she whispered, "It's too late sis, I've already fallen in love." Little did she know he wasn't asleep either. He heard everything and smile. Pretending to wake up, he stretched. A worried look found it's way onto Rissa face. "Are you okay? She asked. "Yeah I'm fine." He said looking at her. She was startled by his touch. He had gently cupped her face in his hands. He let go after wiping away a small amount of blood left there by the punch she had endured earlier. A loud bang took them back to reality. A cloaked man stood before them. "You two," He said, "It is time." He unlocked the cell and quickly pulled them out. "Follow." Was the one word he muttered to them. They walked behind him into the unknown. Rissa looked up at her partner. Thinking she decided to tell him about her "Secret". Even though she had an even bigger one. She loved the boy who was walking next to her towards their final job. He thought the same thing. The girl next to him would never know though. Rissa's voice broke through his thoughts. "You know I'm always awake when you bid me off to sleep." Rissa quietly said. "When I say goodnight?"Alex asked. Rissa nodded her head. "It kinda helped me calm down." She said a small light blush creeping onto her cheeks. "I promise if we survive this I'll say it over and over!" He laughed making her smile. They entered a room. One lone man- well boy, stood in the center. Without warning he turned an inhuman look in his eyes. He rushed towards Rissa and Alex. Taking out a knife he grabbed Rissa and cut her chains then did the same to Alex. He made a side glance at Rissa, turning his knife in his hand. Alex caught sight of that and slowly itched towards her. The boy notice and suddenly plunged his knife into Rissa's shoulder. She cried out in pain. Alex kicked the boy away and rushed to Rissa. He looked at the blood covering her hands. The boy spoke. "You shouldn't have done that... My name is Kyle. The Delta's leader. The partners eyes widened. Kyle rushed at Alex punching and kicking. Alex tried to block, and was successful, most of the time. A few punches landed on Alex's arm and chest. When Alex thought the ambush was done, Kyle sent a kick straight to his chest, sending him flying backwards. "Alex!" Rissa screamed. Alex weakly stumbled back up. She knew what was going to happen next. Alex's hand reached for the gun hidden in his jacket, but so did Kyle. They both pulled out their guns never taking their eyes of each other. Rissa thought, please Alex. Remember your promise. Please remember.
