He stood there with his hand shaking and the gun at my head.
I grabbed the gun from him and threw it on the other side of the room.
I punched him in the face and he fell to the ground.
That was easy.
"Your gonna pay for this you crazy ass mother fucker" I shouted before I got on top of him and started punching him.
I kept on punching him. He looked like he was unconscious but I didn't care.
I could hear Jane's cry from across the room but I kept on punching.
"Scott stop" she screamed "Your gonna kill him stop"
I wasn't listening. My hearing was clouded with anger. I wanted this son of a bitch dead.
She came over to me and pushed me off him.
"Are you crazy?" She screamed while crying "How am I suppose to live when your in prison?"
"Babe I'm sorry but do you really want this asshole alive?"
"Dont do this. He's not worth it. Lets just call the police." She said giving me that look that I can't say no to.
I gave in and we called the cops who came not long after.
Soon paramedics where here taking the half dead bodies out.
My uncle which is the sheriff walked up to Jane and I giving me that look he always give me whenever I get in trouble.
"So am I going to jail for murder" I asked with suspense.
"No they're fine" he said cracking a smile. "It's just that they both might be stuck on life support and might not make it, no biggie."
"Wow that was close" I said letting out a breath.
"What? Are you people crazy?" Jane half screamed "They might die and you might go to jail for defending yourself and me. This is all my fault."
"Babe calm down. People don't go to jail for self defense and this is not your fault."
"Haha I knew that" she said out of breath with a half smile.
"It's ok breath. Hi hi ho ho"
"I'm not going into labor you idiot it was a panic attack."
"You guys got issues" my uncle said before walking away.
A smile crept on my face and turned around to face Jane.
"I love you baby" I said staring into her eyes of gold.
Corny I know.
"I love you more" she replied earning a comforting hug from me.
We stayed back for a while to answer some questions and then we went home.
Y'all already know what went down. Know I don't have to spell it out for you.
