the laughs and the smiles
the giggles and the tries
the invitations to your parties
were sweet sugarcoated candies
until i learned they were bitter
on your teeth
something sour was already brewing
something cold already there
just stop pretending
that you even care
because i've come to know the whispers
while you talked to me about glitters
it was foolish of me
to think you were real
you skin the fruits
you preferred and peel
you thought i wouldn't know
but i was also just waiting for the end of this show.
