I don't understand how log we had been asleep but the sky had now become dark when Harry and I woke up.

"Oh my god" I placed my hand to my head and looked at Harry who was sleeping soundly "Harry? Wake up" I watched him open his eyes and he suddenly had a lazy smile plastered on his face "what time is it?" He groaned and reached over to wear his phone was.

"It's only 7" he said and I sighed in relief, we must have been asleep for only about three hours. Wrapping his arm around me lazily he sighed contently and kissed my forehead. That made me feel well...I couldn't explain it.

"Harry I should get home" I said sitting up and I was clutching the sheet over my chest while trying to reach over Harry to grab my clothes. "Oh no your not going anywhere" Harry pinned me back down and I kissed him lightly "yes I do" I tried again to leave but he pinned me again

"you sure about that?"

He began to kiss my neck and I couldn't help but moan under his touch "okay okay ten minutes that's it! And no funny business" I tapped his temple and he smirked most likely ignoring me.

True to my word I gave him ten minutes of him and I making out with some heavy touching but I knew I had to get home. My parents would probably be home soon and be ready to have dinner, I think it was Godrics turn to cook.

I climbed out of the bed and began to pick up my clothes and I pulled them on as Harry watched me, smiling in his bed. "I'll see you soon okay?" he said and I nodded and bent down to kiss him. "I love you" I said giving him another quick kiss and Harry told me he loved me too and I walked out of the room and I saw Harry pull on a shirt as I did.

I felt like I was glowing and I most likely was.

---

"Hello?" When I got home it was strangely quiet. My parents were probably at the pack house still and I bet Ric forgot he was making dinner and was off somewhere. I decided to wander further into the house and find Mal because I was hoping I could rope him in to help me make dinner.

"Malachi! I'm home" I called out and I was met with silence. That was weird, usually he answered me straight away. "Mal?" I walked up into his room and I saw something that made bile rise in my throat:

A bloody handprint on the wall

"Shit, MALACHI!" I ran towards his room and threw open the door and my scream caught in my throat. Malachi lying in a pool of his own blood and I saw his shallow breaths meaning he was still alive.

"Oh Malachi" I ran towards him and I could see the multiple stab wounds that covered his chest. I knew that Dr Bennet couldn't help me so I needed to call an ambulance. Pulling out my phone I hurriedly told the operator that I needed an ambulance because my brother had been attacked by a home invader.

But I knew better, I knew exactly who did this.

The wolf.

"I swear little brother, he will pay for what he did to you" and I clutched onto his hand until the paramedics came exactly three minutes later. Dragging me into the ambulance with him and as I kept holding his hand and I refused to let go.

My parents, I had to call my parents.

When we got to the hospital they shoved me onto a chair while I sat in the emergency room, my hands still covered in Mal's blood. Shakily I pulled out my phone and rang my parents, spilling out the story in one choked breath. They arrived with Godric in tow not soon after.

"Damnit Abigail what happened!" My father demanded as soon as he walked into the room and I shakily told them that I found him bleeding and that I didn't see anything but it had to be the wolf. My father rubbed his neck and my mother cried quietly but Ric stayed silent, deep in stressed thought.

"I'm the sure the doctors would like to speak to you" I said and pointed towards the doctors I knew were handling Malachi and I watched my parents walk over and not five seconds later the doctors was leading them around a corner, probably from prying ears and for privacy.

I couldn't let my little brother die and I would give anything to make sure he was okay.

Perhaps it was ten minutes before I began to get worried and followed the directions my parents went, I told Ric to look out for the doctors if they came back.

He just nodded weakly at that.

Walking down the corridor I could see my parents around the corner, speaking in hushed whispers and both had tears staining their cheeks. For some reason I was compelled to hide and listen, why? I couldn't tell you.

"Damn it Chase what are we going to do?" My mother cried, clutching to my fathers shirt and he looked as broken as her. "I don't know Storm, I really don't." He looked beaten and just plain broken, I had never seen my father like that before.

"We can't lose another son Chase we can't..." my mother than broke into tears and my father wrapped his arms around her. "I know Storm I know..."

I stopped listening then because of what they said was true that meant Mal, Ric and I had once had a brother before us and they never told us...

They obviously never planned to either. But that could wait because right now I had to see if Malachi was alright...

That's all that mattered...
