I carefully select a celestial bronze bullet and slide it into my pistol. It might seem odd for me, being from around 3,987 years ago, to use a pistol, but the weapon stood out to me. It picked me. And I picked it.
"I never miss," I  whisper, just loud enough for the girl to hear.

My eyes continue to dart around the midnight clearing until I hear a metallic 'click' and 'pop' and my already taught muscles tense, and I pull my silver arrow back further in my precious bow as an idea comes to my overflowing brain, why hadn't I thought of it before?! I grab onto the source from deep within my mind and let the power show in my emerald eyes, as I feel the metal in my hands heat and I see her lime eyes widen in shock, surprise and a hint if anger as I let the arrow go.
