Drunkin' Perfect

Her POV

"Okay",binayaran niya ang kinain namin. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko bago siya naglakad palabas.

We're holding each others hand when we headed our way to the parking area. Binuksan niya ang pintuan sa shotgun seat. Walang imik akong sumakay.

Though kanina pa niya hinahawakan ang kamay ko, the electricity I felt right now was of different intensity from the others. I felt something strange and I do not want to give name to it.

Sumakay na siya sa driver's seat at pinaandar ang sasakyan. I looked at him and realize one thing.

Pareho kami ng kulay ng damit. He's wearing blue upper garment at itinupi hanggang siko ang mahabang manggas nito while I'm wearing blue inside the checkered blazer.

Out of somewhere,napangiti ako. Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at tiningnan ang oras. It's already 8:30 in the evening.

I played Tetris on my phone. Inangat ko ang ulo at napansin ko na iba ang tinatahak naming daan.

"This isn't the way towards our house",saad ko.

"When I say the night is still young, we'll going to waste it nicely",he said sternly while focusing his eyes on the road.

"Sinabi ko naman na ayaw kong pumunta sa kahit saan pang lupalop mo gusto pumunta. I want to go home because I'm tired",mariing tutol ko. I want to go home.

"No. You're coming with me and that's final",I can hear finality in his words but the hell I care.

"Pagkakamalan akong nakababatang kapatid mo",i looked at myself and my gosh I really look like his younger sister with my attire.

"It doesn't matter. I don't care with what people will say. It's not my business to interfere with",

"You're impossible! Where do you think we're going then?",

"Club",tipid niyang sagot.

"What? Are you serious? The more I do not want to go with you. You're such an...ugghh",inis kong wika at nagpapadyak sa loob ng kotse.

"Stop acting like a kid. Just come with me please",napatingin ako sa kanya. He look so serious.

"Hindi ka ba napapagod?",

"No. Once lang naman ito. You're coming with me and that's final",

I didn't mind answering him anymore. There's no chance of winning. Itinutok ko ang paningin ko sa labas ng bintana. Itinext ko na rin sina mom and dad na di ko alam kung anong oras ako makakauwi.

I told them Faith wants to go to the bar and he want me to go with him. After that my phone beeped.

My mother replied. Have fun? How can I have fun kung unang una labag naman sa kalooban ko ang pagsama sa kasama ko. For Christ sake! He blackmailed me.

I busied myself and didn't even attempted to speak. What for?

"Hey! We're here. Stop zoning out",I lifted my head and found out that the car already stop and we are on a parking lot.

Binuksan ko ang pintuan at bumaba. Nauna na akong maglakad habang siya nasa likuran ko.

"Hey wait up. Do you know where you're going lady?",I stopped. Oo nga noh.

"And so what kung mawala ako,alam ko ang uuwian ko",

"You're too stubborn. Can't we have a truce even just for tonight",hawak niya ang batok niya na tila ba doon mapapawi ang inis na nararamdaman.

"You're asking me to make peace with you when you don't even give me the right to decide? Do you know what I like and what I don't? Of course no,right? So tell me how can I stop nagging if you're an asshole of thinking only for yourself",mahabang turan ko. Siya na lang ang nasusunod.

Pangalawang beses ko pa lang siyang makita at makasama pero kung umakto siya parang close kami at matagal na kaming magkakilala. Ang lakas ng apog niya para mandohan ako. He's ruling my life and I hate it. Even Sage didn't do this to me.

"Okay fine! To end this up, I'm coming with you and I hope this will be really the last",

"I promise",he uttered. He held my hand and walked our way towards the entrance of the bar. No one tried to spoke.

It's already 9:30 when we entered the bar. Some people are already intoxicated. He's still holding my hand when we went to the bar counter. We look at the wines displayed in the counter area.

The owner might be rich for having a collection of 1900 Ch. Margaux,1961 Latour, 1947 Cheval Blanc and others. There are also Brunello, Barolo, Single malt,Cognac and others. Also includes a 15 different Cabernet-Sauvignon-dominant red wines and vintage wines.

Of all the finest wines served,he choose the Cognac. The finest in spirit, destilled from grapes. It is incomparable in qualities. It would be a drunkin' night for us.

We were drinking and yet no one dares to speak. Only the loud music and flirting voices fills the circuit.

The bottle of wine is almost half empty,I can feel my cheeks started to get numb. Napatingin ako sa kalalapit lang na lalaki ng matabig niya ako. Mukhang lasing na ito at nag-aaway pa sila ng kasama niyang babae.

"Khyzer tama na,lasing ka na eh",saway ng babaeng kasama niya. Parang pamilyar sa akin ang mukha ng lalake.

"pssst. Parang pamilyar ang mukha mo sa akin",tiningnan ako ng babae. Ngumiti siya pero nawala ang ngiti niya ng tumagos ang tingin niya sa katabi ko.

"h-hi",alanganing sagot niya. Nakayuko na sa counter ang kasama niyang lalake.

"I'm Ella and you are?",

"Megan. Kasama mo si Kuya Faith?",turo niya sa katabi ko. May sariling mundo ito at feeling ata niya mag-isa lang siya dito.

"oo,kilala mo?",kuya daw,kapatid kaya niya?

Lumapit siya kay Faith at tinapik ito sa balikat.

"K-kuya Faith",

"What!",masungit na turan niya ng di pa rin lumilingon.

"Help me with Khyzer please. He's too drunk at 'di ko siya kayang buhatin",turo niya sa katabi kong lalake na tila nakatulog na.

"Hayaan mo siya diyan. Pabuhat mo sa mga bouncer",he ordered another set of Cognac and poured some into my goblet.

"Baka bugbugin lang siya,makulit na siya kuya. Kahit tulungan mo lang ako hanggang sasakyan please kuya. For sure susunod yan sa'yo",she said in a pleading voice.

"Okay. You stay here Ella. I'll be back",tumayo siya at binatukan si Lynden.

"hmmm",ungol ng huli.

"Khyzer,will you please get your ass out here. This is a party place and not your bedroom. Get up!",

"Kuya! Ginagawa mo dito?",inangat niya ang ulo niya at itinukod ang kamay dito.

"Uwi na",he said. Namumula na rin ang pisngi niya,halatang natamaan na rin siya.

"O-okay. Sabi mo eh",ngisi niya at tumayo ngunit gumewang lang siya. Mabuti at naalalayan pa siya ni Faith.

Tumulong na rin ako at hinawakan ang kamay niya.

"Ako na",saway ni Faith.

"Oh Queen Marinella,date ka ni kuya. Galingan mo future hipag",kumindat pa siya.

"Stop talking shits Khyzer",aniya at inilayo na sa akin si Khyzer. Naglakad na sila palabas.
