Make me Fall
Last night, I didn't saw it coming. I thought Ella was kidding when she said it. But I was wrong ng muli ko siyang maangkin. This time, hindi ko na siya pinilit. We both agreed on it and I'm happy for that chance she was giving me. I swear she will fall under my spell.
I was busy watching her sleep when I received a text message from Falcon.
It's all settled
Tiningnan ko si Ella na ngayo'y nakaharap pa sa akin. She has that angelic face yet ang sungit-sungit niya. One minute she's okay, one minute she's not. But I am bound to tame the tigress on her.
I decided to get up from bed at tumungo sa banyo para maligo. Pagkatapos maligo, bumaba na ako sa kusina para tumingin ng mailuluto.
Patapos na ako sa pagluluto ng marinig ko ang mga yabag pababa ng hagdan.
"F-faith, thank you sa damit", aniya pagbungad sa kusina. Inutusan ko si Lyca na ibilhan siya ng damit and thank God nagkasya.
"No worries",I poured a coffee from the coffee maker and gave it to her na nakangiti naman niyang tinanggap. Seems like the world turned.
Binuksan ko ang tv at hinayaan lang siyang manood habang naghahanda ako ng pagkain.
Queen Marinella Skyler goodbye na ba sa pagiging isang sikat na model. Bukod sa isa sa pinakamayamang angkan ay kilala rin si Queen bilang isang sikat na model sa loob at labas ng bansa. Katunayan nito ang naglipana niyang billboards,magazine covers,endorsements at kung ano-ano pa. Ito ay matapos sabay-sabay na ipatigil at ipatanggal ang kanyang billboards,advertisements,magazine covers at maging larawan sa internet ng hindi pa nakukumpirmang lalake. Ayon sa aming reliable source,ayaw daw ni boy ang trabaho ni Queen kaya't kahit magbayad ng mahal ay pinatulan na ni boy. Dahil ayon pa sa aming source,sa kanya lang daw si Queen at walang sinumang maaaring magpista sa alindog nito.
"Faith!!!!",umaapoy ang mga matang sigaw ni Ella sa akin. Seems like I'll be catching daggers once again.
"W-wala akong kinalaman diyan ah. Magkasama tayo,paano ko magagawa yun?",taas kilay kong wika.
"Ikaw lang ang may kakayahang gumawa nun. No one else except you! You're such a possessive jerk and I hate you!",
"Don't hate me because of what I did. I'm proving myself to you na kahit ang ipagdamot ka ay gagawin ko,makasigurado lang na akin ka",I hugged her from behind and rested my jaw on her shoulder.
"It's not love Faith,di pa tayo but you're starting to control my life already. Loosen the grip and let me breath. Don't push me too hard",humarap siya sa akin at hinawakan ang magkabila kong pisngi.
"I'm sorry baby. Please don't give up",i said and hugged her. Nakakabakla mang tingnan,well I don't care, huwag lang siyang mawala sa akin.
"No, I am yours and there's no chance that I will retract what I'd told you last night"
"Thank you baby. I'm sorry", i said with sincerity. I really love her and I will do what it takes just to have her.
"You're forgiven. Stop with the drama and let's eat,mukhang masarap itong sinangag",nawala na yung inis sa mukha niya.
Inabot ko ang plato ng kanin at nilagyan ang kanyang plato. Sinandokan ko na rin siya ng tuna omelette and hotdog. I'm so proud of what I'm doing.
"Thanks",she said smiling.
"You're always welcome",naupo na rin ako sa harap niya at hindi ko mapigilang panoorin siya habang kumakain.
"don't watch me eating. Hindi ka mabubusog sa panonood sa akin",
"I can't help it baby",I poured a lemon juice on her glass bago ako nagsimulang kumain.
"uuwi na ako pagkatapos nating kumain. Daddy called and he's asking where the hell I am",aniya sa pagitan ng pagkain.
"i'll come with you",
"No need Faith. Magtataka lang yun kung bakit tayo magkasama",
"My decision is final,I'm coming with you",I said with finality.
"here we go again. Had you forgotten what I'd told you a while ago",
"okay,ihahatid na lang kita. Just to make it sure you'll go home safe",I said with a defeating tone.
"fine,basta huwag ka ng lumabas ng sasakyan after",
Pagkatapos kumain gumayak na kami.
"Thank you baby. I swear hindi ka magsisisi",I kissed her forehead and held her hand. It's a good day after all.
"I'm giving you the chance because I can see what you're trying to prove",she said before walking out the door.
I grab my keys with a smile and whistled with joy. I opened the shotgun seat and let her seat in.
Wala kaming imikan hanggang sa makarating sa kanilang bahay. Hindi na ako bumaba at sa halip ay pinanood na lang siya hanggang sa makapasok sa kanilang gate.
Pagkatapos maihatid si Ella, dumiretso ako sa kulungan para bisitahin si Shazumi.
"What brings you here? Are you happy now? My father died but I can't even attend his burial",anger and sadness was on her voice and I can't help but feel pity for her.
"Condolence and I'm sorry if I'm the one who brought you here. I can't see any reason why you did that to Ella. I treated you as my friend",i said as a matter of fact.
"A friend? How can we be friends? Do you think I can still be your friend after you broke my heart?",she said sarcastically.
"We'll that's what I thought but I was wrong. Anyway, I just came here to know if you're okay and I guess you're okay",I stood up and left her without minding what she's exclaiming.
Pumunta ako para sana kumustahin siya but I guess it's not good for us. I'd left a deep wound on her heart and only time can heal it.
Queen Marinella
"Good morning daddy",nadatnan ni Ella ang kanyang ama na mukhang sadyang naghihintay sa kanya.
"Mukhang napapadalas ang labas niyo ni Faith ah? Don't tell me I'm having a grandchild soon",her daddy stated without even looking at her.
His eyes was focused on the newspaper he was reading.
"Of course not dad! What makes you think that you'll be having a grandchild?",umasim ang mukha ni Ella sa binanggit ng ama.
"Papunta ka pa lang,pauwi na ako. You can't fool me my daughter. I know something's going on between the two of you. You're my daughter, bawat utot at paghinga mo alam ko yan", malaman at makahulugang saad ni Angelo.
"I'm tired dad,can I just go to my room? We're heading to nowhere", Ella said and headed her way upstairs pero napahinto din siya sa tinuran ng kanyang ama.
"I'm giving you one month Marinella. Kapag lomobo ang tiyan mo, you and Faith will tie the knot immediately, by hook or by crook. I don't like to have granchild born out of wedlock",unvoluntarily, she touched her flat tummy and he heart pounded rapidly.
"That won't happen dad",she said with too much doubt.
"I hope so honey",then his eyes landed at Ella.
"I'll go now dad. I'm tired and have a lot of works to do today",she said and headed her way without looking back at her father.
Sa pag-akyat ay nakasalubong pa niya ang kanyang ina na todo bihis.
"Good morning mom. What's with that elegant dress?",
I asked. She's wearing a red body hugging dress with a long cut at the right side. She doesn't look like a mother, she's so sophisticated in her own way.
"I'll be meeting Hollyfaith's mom for some chit-chat bonding you know",and she winked at me. She smiled suspiciously but I have a lot more to do.
