Evelyn ran down the steps of her house nearly barrelling into her dad's body as she ran
"Oh hey pumpkin, what's all the hub bub Bob?" He asked folding his newspaper
Her dad, Paul watched the look on his daughter's face and his face shone
"Dean's coming isn't he?"
She grinned like an idiot and nodded excitedly
"Tell him I say hi," her dad said walking into the kitchen
"I'll never know what you see in that boy," her mom, Stephanie said shaking her head
Evelyn rolled her eyes silently fixing her lip gloss when 2 steady honks interrupted her
She squealed and ran out to the familiar white pik-up truck
She slid in the front seat and kissed his lips, her hands molded to the back of his head
He smiled into the kiss and they parted
"Hey gorgeous," he said smiling
She grinned
And they pulled off.
They were going out to dinner tonight and as they pulled up to the diner they had so much memories at.
Dean stepped out first then hastily ran over to Evelyn's side and yanked the door open taking his woman by the hand and helping her out
"Why thank you kind Sir," she said jokingly
Dean curtseyed
"Pleasure's all mine baby," he replied before he kissed her forehead and pulled open the diner door for her
She smiled at him and walked through, him following the soft clicking of her heels and the sweet smell of her vanilla perfume.
