Dean nervously adjusted the cufflinks on his shirt before he put the box in his pocket and walked up the familiar path way
He took a breath and knocked
The door swung open and Stephanie stood there, smirking
"What do you want?" She asked
Dean looked straight in her eyes
"I'm here to get the love of my life." He replied
Stephanie's smirk turned into a smile and she stepped away from the doorframe
Dean walked in and began walking
"Hey Dean," Stephanie called, Dean stopped walking and turned to face her
"I was wrong about you. I'm sorry." She said
Dean grinned
"It's quite alright." He replied
"Go get her, she's in the garden." Stephanie instructed, giving Dean a smile and a wink before she retired to the kitchen
Dean was more nervous if that was even possible, but the fact that Paul and Stephanie agreed to his plan put a bit of rest on his mind. But now, it's Evelyn's answer that rested heavy.
He slid open the glass door that separated the garden from the house and he stepped outside and immediately his breath caught

Dean cleared his throat and Evelyn jumped slightly before she turned and her eyes lit up
"DEAN?!" She shouted getting up and running towards him, he eagerly caught her as she leaped into his arms and started giggling as he spun her around and he smiled widely
"Babe, what're you doing back here?" She asked as he let her down but despite her warning tone, the beautiful smile never left her gorgeous face
"Speaking of that," he began feeling the haunting box in his pocket
She tilted her head as he grabbed her hand and took a deep breath
"Dean?" she questioned before her hazel eyes followed his movement as his left knee hit the floor and then her eyes widened and her free hand clutched her mouth
"Ev baby girl, I've loved you from the very first time I saw you. There were so many beautiful things about you, but what really got me, were your eyes, when you look at me, I see happiness and pure adoration and that makes me feel like I did something right for once, that I could make someone else happy, I've always only cared about myself, but as soon as you came along, I knew there was something special about you, I needed to protect you, even though you took down the entire football team when they called me a freak," Dean paused as Evelyn barked a laugh
"There's so many things unknown for the future and the future scares alot of people but as long as you're at my side, there's nothing that I can't do. We haven't had the best start to our relationship but because of you and our undying love, we've made it 4 years and honestly I've never loved someone as much as I love you and that will never change, as soon as I see you, pure adoration and happiness runs through my veins, because you're the only one I care about, I don't care what people have to say about us, I don't care what your parents have to say about us, the only thing I care about, is what you have to say about us, so there's so much about the future I don't know, but the one thing I have no doubt about is that I want you by my side, forever. So Evelyn Claire Levesque, the reason for my smile and the reason I'm still alive, will you continue to be my happiness? Will you marry me?" He finished as Evelyn had tears running down her cheeks
As she was about to reply, she caught her mom and dad standing on the porch

She smiled at the look of adoration they shared.
She looked down at Dean where he knelt and she was shocked as she saw the same adoration and admiration that she saw when her dad looked at her mom.
She saw his smile falter then her parents' eyes met hers and she realized she didn't answer but she couldn't trust her voice so she smiled at Dean and nodded before she threw herself on him, making both of them land on the grass and she pressed her lips to his as her mom and dad cheered. She couldn't believe she was engaged to the love of her life, this was amazing! But a thought ran heavy on her mind. Does her mom still doubt Dean?
"Hey Dean," Stephanie called
Dean stopped smiling at Evelyn and trained his eyes on Paul and Stephanie
"We're inviting you for dinner tonight," Paul announced, Stephanie nodded, smiling
"Sounds like a plan," Dean agreed before he turned to lovingly rub his nose against Evelyn's making her grin cutely
