Shawn's POV
I get out of my jeep and walk over to Avery who was sitting on the curb outside the shop. I smile and wave at her, "Hey."
She stands up, "Hi."
We stand there in silence for a few moments until I finally close the gap and hug her. I wrap my arms around her waist and she places her head on my shoulder.
"So you're really going to college now." she whispers
"Yep. Arent you?"
"Nah, im taking a year off before I go."
"Ah okay," I let go of her and smile
"Im going to miss you kiddo." I bend down and give her a small kiss on the cheek.
I walk back over to my jeep and open the door. I look back at her, "Of course I'll still text you."
"Yes, you better. And remember if you ever meet NIall, dont suck his dick." Avery says in a serious tone, making me laugh.
"Wont promise anything." I get in and start my car. I wave goodbye one more time and start to drive away. Putting Avery in my rear view.
