Shawn: Goodmorning Aveeeeeee

Shawn: totally random question but when is your birthday ?

Ave: oh goodmorning shawn

Shawn: (:

Ave: and September 10 what about you ?

Shawn: August 8 :)))

Ave: oh nice its almost coming up!

Shawn: Yea Im getting old );

Shawn: Princess open your dooooooor

Ave: SHAWN DONT U CALL ME THAT AGAIN IMG GOINT TO STRANKGLE U

Shawn: ohmygod CALM DOWN

I looked up from my phone and opened the door, she didnt lock the door.

"What the actual- I thought I closed the door?" She said from the kitchen table

"Be careful next time dummy, what if I was a killer hm?!" I got the food bag and put it on the table,

"Is this food?!" She happily got up and started looking through the bag

I smiled, " I was hungry and thought we could eat together"

"Wow thank you" She said while I pretended to cry. She giggled and sat down again across from me

"Why is there so much food?" She asked while taking all the food out and grabbing small fries, chicken nuggets, and a sprite.

"Well I didnt know what to get you so I basically bought the whole menu." I laughed while getting my coke, medium fries, and a hamburger. "So tell me more about you Avery." I looked up at her and she did the same. "What do you wanna know?" She whispered,

"Anything, I just want to hear you talk to be honest" She smiled and blushed which made me smile too

"Well I have a bestfriend named Emma, I could tell her anything," she stopped for a while then continued "but unfortunately she moved to Florida," She added sadly, "We still text and facetime, but I miss her so much, at least she is happy. She told me she has a boyfriend named Jason, we factimed before. He is pretty cool but I hope he doesnt hurt her..." She continued telling me more about herself and all I could do is listen to her,

I loved how when she would smile or laugh there would be little bags under her eyes and her dimples would show, her lips were so pink and plump, her hair would fall and she would tuck it in behind her ear. She is genuinely beautiful.

"Dammit! I forgot,Shawn? Shawn.." Avery snapped me out of my thoughts

"Whats wrong?" I started standing up while she did the same.

"I forgot Jax is picking me up in an hour and I dont know what to wear."

"A... um... date?" I asked sadly while she started going up the stairs "Yea come on" She yelled and I was about to turn around and leave but hey im her almost to be best friend so I need to help her even if I dont want to.

I went up the stairs and saw her looking through her closet and drawers, "Please help me pick an outfit while I take a quick shower" She said grabbing a towel, I forced a smile "Sure but on one condition" I said holding my pinky up, "What is it?" She smiled as she saw my pinky.

"We will be best friends forever" I smiled sadly, if she didnt see me as more than a friend might as well be bestfriends right? She smiled back and we hooked pinkies
"Bestfriends forever?" I said
"Bestfriends forever Shawn." She quickly hugged me and got in the bathroom. I sighed while looking throught her clothes.

After a like 7 minutes I finally picked the perfect outfit I think,

just on time Avery got out of the shower, I turned around and she was wearing a towel around her.

I quickly turned around "Sorry" I said while walking away whitout looking.

"Its ok you can wait here just turn around, I'll change quick" I just nodded while I heard her move around the room.

"Ok you can turn around now" I turned around and she was looking at herself at mirror then she turned around

"I love this Shawn thank you, How do I look?" She said worriedly,

"You look beautiful" I said without even thinking, "Especially in that flannel, fun fact I love flannels" She smiled and blushed, "I love them too but I dint go out shopping as much when Emma left," She started but was interrupted by the doorbell,

"Ohmygod that must be Jax! Can you go let him in? I need to put a bit make up on." She said running towards the bathroom again. I sighed and whispered to myself "You dont need make up you are already gorgeous" I turned around and headed too the door and opened it to find the boy Sammy with flowers in his hand.

"Hello Im Jax Smith and you are?" He questioned. "Im Shawn Mendes, Avery's best friend," I stuck my hand out for him to shake, he shaked it,so far so good i guess, "How old are you Jax?" I continued to ask him questions, "Im 19"

"Woah woah woah. 19?! Arent you a bit too old for Avery?" I started to get a little concerned. "A bit yeah..."

"Dont you dare try to make an inappropriate move on her."

"Chill out." He puts his hands up, thats when i heard Avery coming down the stairs

"Hey Jax." She smiled at him ugh

"Hi baby, lets get going" they started to walk down the stairs while I was behind them.

"Avery text me when you get home from your date." I rolled my eyes and started to walk home, Jax and Avery passed me and she waved at me, I grumbled and stuffed my hands in my pocket furiously, why couldnt I be the one to pick her up and take her on a nice date?

Once I got home I laid on my bed and got my phone out and decided to text Ave even thought I know she wouldnt reply,

Shawn: I hope you are having fun!

Shawn: be careful i dont want him to hurt you

Shawn: I care about you a lot and I dont want to see you hurt

Shawn: goodnight Avery

Shawn: no matter what time it is please text me when you get home to know that you are safe
