Rachel's pov:
I was in my room practicing for my choir concert later when my father barged into my room in a drunken manner . I had never seen him like this before but I knew it wasn't good .

"Keep away from her !" My mother yelled .

"Back away you ungrateful bitch!" He yelled and slapped her and she fell to the ground.

"Mommy!" I yelled scared.

My father took my suitcase and packed it and he then dragged me out to his truck .

"Let me go!" I yelled frightened.

"Shut up ! Everything is going to be okay Rachel we're going somewhere where we can be together forever ." He said .

He threw me in the back seat and locked the doors as he started up the truck.

"Mommy! Someone help me!" I yelled from the back of the truck .

"Rachel!" My mom yelled but it was too late he already drove off .

(5 years later )
I sat in the ratty old cellar in the clothes I've been wearing since I was 12 years old . My hair was messy and long and my eyes were blood shot from all those years of crying. Suddenly the cellar opened up and the light shined through .

"Down here !" A man yelled in a uniform.

Suddenly the police ran through with the ambulance.

"Police!" Someone yelled .

I stood up scared as they busted down my door . The man looked at me and said ,

"We found a girl." He said into his walky-talky

"What's your name?" He asked me .

"Rachel Berry." I said .

"Rachel my name is Officer Cameron I'm here to rescue you." He told me .

"What about my father he'll be angry if he knows I'm gone ." I said .

"He can't hurt you anymore . He's gone it's time to take you home all you have to do is take my hand ." He told me .

I nodded and I took his hand and he got me out of the cellar . All these bright lights were flashing in my face taking my picture.

"Rachel!Rachel!" My mom yelled .

She ran to me and gave me a hug,

"Thank god you're alive ! You're alive!" She yelled .

She was right , I was out and alive but I felt dead inside still.
