Chapter 21
(The next day)
Rachel's pov:
I woke up to see Finn was still sleeping next to me . I smiled and kissed his forehead . I then got up and went down stairs . I decided that I was going to see my dad for the last time. I took my car keys and got into my car and drove up to the prison where he was .
(3 hours later )
I got to the prison and took a deep breath . What am I going to say when I see him? What do you say to someone like that ?
"Hi , I'm here to see Hiram Berry." I said .
"Name ?" The guard asked me .
"Rachel Berry." I said .
"Follow me." He said and he took me to the visiting room.
"Sit down and we'll get him for you." He said .
I sat down and looked how the glass kept a wall between everyone. I sat there nervously, I thought about leaving but I knew if I did I would feel what he wanted me to feel. I played with my nails and then I looked up as he came in and sat down . I felt chills going down my spine as he looked at me and said ,
"Hello daughter , you're looking well ."
I bit my lip and said nothing . He smirked ,
"Ah that's a girl obeying me still I see even though I'm in this place. Come Give daddy a kiss now." He said .
"You're wrong." I told him .
"I'm never wrong ." He said .
"No you are , you have no control over me anymore you gutless pig." I told him full of hate .
He smirked ,
"If I have no control over you then why are you here?" He asked me .
"To tell you that I have no remorse in my heart for you nor hate , you thought I would turn dark after everything you did to me after everything I went through . Yet somehow I still found the light , and at end of the day I'll be out here living my life and you , you'll be rotting in your cell , in the dark, for the rest of your miserable and pointless . You have to live with what you did to me for the rest of your miserable life , but I'm free to move on and I am, and that's the ultimate revenge." I said coldly and with that I got up and left , leaving him and my past behind in the dark.
