Chapter 23
(3 months later )
Finns pov:
Rachel and I have been going out for 7 months now I'm really happy . Summers coming up and I'm really excited to spend it with her . Tonight is Rachel's and I's anniversary and I'm really excited . I have a lot planned like dinner , romantic movie , and then ice cream. I was at my locker with Puck,

"So what's the plan tonight?" He asked me .

"Dinner , movie, and ice cream ." I said .

"No banging ?" He asked me .

"No." I said .

"Why not ?" He asked me .

"I don't think we're ready ." I said .

"Not ready? She's not ready or you're not ready ?" He asked me .

I sighed and said ,

"I don't know man , we haven't really talked about it and honestly I don't think either of us are ready ." I said and left .

Rachel's pov:
I was walking to Finn's locker when I heard him and Puck talking about us.

"No banging ?" Puck asked him.

"No." Finn said .

"Why not ?" Puck asked him .

"I don't think we're ready ." Finn said .

"Not ready? She's not ready or you're not ready ?" Puck asked him .

Finn sighed and said ,

"I don't know man , we haven't really talked about it and honestly I don't think either of us are ready ." And left .

I stood there and looked down. Was I neglecting Finn by not having sex with him yet ? Does he think I don't want him that way ? I sighed and left .

Later on I was on the way to dinner with Finn for our anniversary. I didn't want him to know about what I heard but I couldn't help but say something .

"Do you wanna have sex with me ?" I asked him .

He looked at me shocked and said ,

"What?"

"Do you wanna have sex with me ?" I asked him.

"Rachel." He said .

"It's a simple question Finn ? Yes or no?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I mean eventually . Where is this coming from?" He asked me .

"I heard you and Puck talking today in the hall talking about us having sex." I said bluntly .

He sighed and looked down,

"I'm so sorry , I didn't want to talk about it with him . He brought it up and I just told him I didn't think we were ready ." He told me .

"Why?" I asked him .

"Rachel, I don't wanna talk about this, not tonight . It's our anniversary, I made dinner reservations, bought movie tickets . Let's just have a good time ." He said .

I took his hand and said ,

"Finn, please ."

"Rachel, I love you but I don't want you to feel uncomfortable. You've been through a lot ." He said .

"Is what this is about? You don't wanna have sex with me because I was raped?" I said .

"No , I just , I don't want you to be scared and ya know afraid of me . I don't want you to go back to that place . I don't think you're ready ." He told me .

"Finn,"

"Rachel please just drop it ." He said .

I kissed him and said ,

"Nothing you could do could scared me . You are not a criminal , you would never ..."

"Rachel I'm not ready!" He said "I'm not ready to have sex with you ! I don't want to hurt you and I'm not ready so please for the last time drop it!" He yelled and got out of the car .

Finns pov:
After dinner Rachel and I skipped the movie and dessert and went home .  I felt bad about yelling at her but I didn't know what to say or how to explain it . We pulled up in her drive way and parked . I sighed and said ,

"Rachel,"

But before I could say a word she hoped out of my truck and ran into her house .
