Soda explosions

We were walking back to a booth and Josh was rubbing the back of his head because he called the diner double d's in front of Debbie and she wacked him with a spatula. "She scares me sometimes." He said and Noah shook his head laughing. The booth was by the window with three people already there.

One of the girls has platinum blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. She was laughing really hard at something the boy across from her had said and the red headed girl sitting next to her was shaking her head. The boy was sitting with his back to us so I couldn't quite see him yet. Noah leaned over to me. "The blonde and the red head go to a private school and the loser sitting across from them and another guy we hang out with dropped out." I nodded my head a little.

We got to the booth and the three looked up at us. "Guys this is Paige Dailey, Paige this is Molly Bailas, Julia Harvard and Matthew Bell." He said introducing them blonde first. "Hi." I said smirking a little bit. "Hi, its really nice to meet you." Molly said with a big smile. "Yeah its not very often these two bring around someone new." Julia said smiling. "Where's Angelo?" Josh asked, "bathroom." Matthew responded. "Angelo Connards is the other loser we hang out with, you'll meet him in a bit." Noah said and I nodded. Matthew scooted over in the booth so me and the twins could sit, "I'll go get some sodas for us, want one Paige?" "Yeah." Josh got up and went back to the bar ordering some. "Get me one too!" Matthew yelled and Josh waved him off.

We started talking about random things when I turned around to stretch and caught Josh shaking up a couple bottles of the soda. I made sure notice which ones he shook up and turned around before he seen me. He came back to the booth a couple minutes later after getting a couple more bottles, he slid the shook up ones over to me and Matthew. He pretended not to watch while we opened them. Matthew almost opened his but I stopped him by grabbing his elbow. He looked at me and raised a eyebrow but I just lifted a finger telling him to wait.

I turned back around and slowly started to open the bottle, the fizz slowly starting to raise to the top. I pushed Noah back a little bit but not to much so I could use him as a shield, "hey Josh?" He turned around and I pulled the cap the rest of the way off pointing it at him. Fizz went everywhere and Josh was staring at me in shock with red soda dripping down his face. Once the fizz settled down I chugged the remaining soda and slammed the bottle on the table.

Everyone started laughing, "So Josh, next time you attempt to prank someone make sure they don't see you setting it up." I said and winked. He scowled a bit but still smiled and got up to go clean himself off. "He shook up yours too, that's why I stopped you from opening it." I told Matthew, "Thanks" I nodded.

I was about to start talking again when am amazing smell hit me. It smells like vanilla and the woods right after it rains. Its mesmerizing. The best thing I have ever smelt.

"Hey Paige you okay there?" Julia asked me. "Do you smell that?" I asked, "Smell what? All I can smell in here is the grease they have packed into basically everything here." She said. I looked at all of them and they looked confused. I shook my head, "Nevermind its nothing." I smiled a little bit and continued on with the conversation we were having.

A/N sooooo how are my beautiful lovely/handsome readers? Good hopefully 😄 okay so 3 things 1. I know my chapters are very short but after I finish the re written ones they will be longer trust me😊 2. Were gonna be meeting Angelo in the chap chap AHHHHH why am I excited about this gosh lol and 3. I am also going to be starting another story called far from heaven it is about fallen angels and I am very excited to start it (thanks alot hush hush) I love fallen angels and this idea I have sounds good to me personally so hopefully my readers will think the same so I love you guys thank you for getting me to 50 reads! And I will update as soon as I can👍
