"This moron went flying off to the end and fucking skyrocketed into the side of the house." I burst out laughing at story that Noah was telling me about the time him and Josh tried and failed imitate the cartoon classic when you drop something heavy at one end of a seesaw and go flying into the air. Molly and Julia were giggling like mad, Josh shaking his head in shame and Matthew just chuckled while writing something and putting it in a pile with some other papers he folded. After I came back I took Angelos seat so i have a lot more room to just  laugh and have more fun.

"Hey Paige could you do me a quick favor?" Matthew said with a serious look and I said, "yeah I guess so, what is it?" "Could you bring this to the Cook Rick? Just go right through the kitchen doors." I took the papers and as he handed them to me "yeah sure." Standing up I noticed Josh and Noah giving him a questioning glance but I just dismissed it and walked away.

I pushed open the kitchen doors and walked in slowly. Both Angelo and Rick turned around Angelo looked at me and Rick looked down disdainfully at the papers in my hand. "Here let me take those, can't believe that boy, too lazy to get up himself and makes pretty girl do his work." He shook his head and grinned at me. "Just wait here  I have some more that he needs." He said and took them walking away and glancing at some of them as he did and shook his head a couple more times about something on the papers.

Running my hand through my hair I kicked my boots on the ground. "So Paige." My head shot up hearing Angelo's voice he was looking at the stove but his body was facing me. "Yes?" I question while slowly running my eyes across his body. "Why in the world did you move to Oakland Connecticut? no one moves here voluntarily." he askd finally looking at me with his startling eyes. "Well I didn't. My parents kinda rushed it without even telling me why." I answered. He rubbed his chin and look down thinking. "You're a daily?" He asked while chuckling a little. I recoiled, "what's so funny about it? What do you have against my family?" I said in  defense. His eyes snapped up to meet mine and he was serious again. "I have nothing against your family in particular. Now my father on the other hand that's a different story." He said it and before I could question him again Rick came out of the back holding papers.

"Here you go tell him to do his own work next time will you." Rick said handing them to me. Nodding I Look Back glaring slightly at Angelo and he gave me the same look but it was mixed with something like hurt. Just dismissing it I left and quickly walked to our table but before I got there I heard Julia and she sounded somewhat angry. "It's not true. She hasn't even shifted she has no scent." She said and Josh responded "are you questioning your Alpha?" There was a long pause before she responded. "When it comes to something like this I have too. what do you think will happen if his father finds out his mate might be human?" She said quickly. "Let's put emphasis on might. Her family is known for being mated to Alphas. And-" "Don't even say it. It's a myth." She cut off Matthew but Noah finished. "Being descendants of the Salem wolf." It was complete silence for a few seconds so I just walk up to them before they seen me I heard Molly say "In times like these you have to consider it to be a possibility Juli."

"Hey guys." They all looked at me like they've been caught. "What?" I pretended I didn't hear what they said because let's be honest. They sounded nuts. When I just said that a relieved expression crossed all their faces. I slid the papers over to Matthew and he groaned hitting his forehead on the table making Molly laugh. "Well with that done I'm actually going to go." I said smiling a little awkwardly. "Skipping the rest of school already?" Josh said with a amused expression. "I'm not going to waste my life on useless  knowledge. It's not like my parents care so yeah why not." I said. "Good for you well we'll see you tomorrow I guess." He said. "Yeah see you guys later." I waved and walked off.

Angelo came out of the kitchen while I was paying and hesitated before walking past me. Here's change. Thanks Amber. I said and she smiled walking off doing whatever else she had to do. I looked at Angelo one more time and walked out of the door towards my bike.

Before I put my helmet on someone called my name I turned around to see Angelo coming towards me. I cross my arms "What?" "Leaving without saying goodbye?" He said with a joking kind of expression. "I did say goodbye, just not to you." I smiled sweetly at him then rolled my eyes. He gave me a dark look "Be careful there angel don't want to piss me off." I laughed while swinging my leg onto my bike. "And why wouldn't I want to do that you seem like you'd be sexy when your mad." I winked at him and his eyes darkened slightly i put my helmet on and started the engine. "Well, goodbye!" I said and sped out of the parking lot swerving between a couple cars.
