We all finally sat down after the second pop explosion of the day. Angelo hasn't even noticed me or cast me a single glance and it brought my mood down by alto but I don't know why. He's just some guy that I haven't even officially met yet. So why does it feel like I've been punched in the gut.

"Hey are you alright?" Molly asked but I wasnt paying attention. I've been staring at the same spot on the table for the last five minutes. I hummed in response and looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Are you alright?" She repeated and everyone except Angelo was looking at me now. I nodded and looked back down at the table. You sure? you've been spaced out for the past few minutes." "Yeah I'm good." I responded looking back at her. "Alright." she smiled a little off and continued talking with the twins.

A few minutes later the waitress came back with our food and began passing it out much to the delight of the others. When she gave me mine everybody was looking at me expectantly. "What?" "Try it" Matthew said pointing at my burger and I swatted his hand away. "Alright alright." I rolled my eyes and took my first bite. "Well?" Julia said and I moaned and response this is a most amazing Burger I have ever tried and I have eaten a lot of burgers they all smiled and continued on to eat their food.

It felt like someone was still looking at me so I looked up and met Angelos eyes. He looked away and started talking lowly to Julia and she didn't seem happy about whatever it is he said. I was still looking at him when he glanced back and we looked at each other for a few more seconds before I looked away and continued eating. My heart was jumping I've never felt like this. I've never felt this feeling before itd amazing but I don't even know why I'm feeling like this.

I was talking to Matthew when there was this loud pop that made us all jump a little. When I turned around I seen Angelo's face and chest soked in soda. Nobody could help it and we all started laughing and when we did his eyes snapped to me and he made a face that I couldn't read. I stood up a little saying, "I'll help you clean off." I smile a  little and nod my head towards the counter I stepped over the twins legs and started walking towards the napkin holder and looked back to see him following closely behind.

I took a couple napkins out of the dispenser and had him sit down on the stool so I could reach. I carefully started to dab the soda off of his face and he chuckled a bit making my heart flutter. "You don't have to be so gentle angel." I started blushing at the pet name he gave me and looked away. "You're going to need another shirt this one is going to get all sticky." I said while wiping off his neck then arms and hands. Picking up all the napkins I used I walk over and threw them in the trash.

"Angelo dear could you go help Rick in the kitchen I have to run into town and get some things." Debbie called from the kitchen door untying her apron. "Yeah of course no problem." He smiled at her. He has an amazing smile. He looked back at me, "thanks for helping me clean off." I smiled and nodded and he walks away looking back at me one more time before he walks into the kitchen.

I went back to sit down but my phone started ringing before I did so I turned around and went outside. "Hello?" "Hi hun it's Mom I was just wondering if you're going to be home tonight me and your dad have something we need to tell you." She said with hesitancy. "Yeah I should be. I'm just hanging out with some friends right now so I gotta go." I said looking at them through the window laughing "oh friends? I'm glad you made some today that's wonderful well see you after school dear love you bye." "Bye Mom." I said hanging up and walked back inside.

I bumped into someone in looked up noticing it was the waitress. "Hey sorry." I said and helped her pick up the papers she dropped. "No worries I'm a bit of a klutz today." She said laughing a bit when we stood up. I gave her the papers, "thanks hun im amber by the way, Debbies granddaughter." She said smiling. "Im Paige nice to meet you." I said smiling a little. "Well duty calls it was nice to meet you too Paige." She said still smiling and walked away walking back to the table I looked over my shoulder to see the kitchen window and seen Angelo talking and laughing with someone an older man who I'm guessing is Rick.

"Welcome back" Josh said. "I got a phone call." I said and sat down they continue talking I just give short responses and stared out the window my mind wandering to everything else.
