_YASMIN_4018

Ok so this will have multiple parts to it. Maybe 3-4 I'm not sure. Also, Johnny is 14 in this

Yasmin's p.o.v

I ran, ran, and ran until I was out of breath.
I live in tulsa with my cousin, cole. My parents were killed in an accident.  So I had to move  to cole's house.

I wasn't sad about my parents , I wasn't really that close to them. Everyone was giving me pity about how bad it was to loose your parents at 12. It was annoying, that's another reason why I left. Pity after pity after pity.

Cole wasn't the best person to be around. I never met him before, so I didn't know what he was like.

Turns out, he was a horrible, person. And that means a lot coming from me. He drank a lot. And when he got drunk, he took it out on me. And it wasn't just words. He abused me.

It was bad. I was in the hospital many, many times because of him. But he always told the nurses and doctors that I got jumped. I just went along.

I knew the east side very well by now. I stopped in front of the lot. I always see a boy sitting or laying down on the worn out couch.

I never payed to much mind to him, until a few weeks ago. I ran into him at school. I knocked him over trying to run to class.

He was cute. Big black eyes, and nice tan skin. He had black hair, that was greased back with the bangs in the front.

Everytime I saw him at school, or in the lot, my stomach did flips. I think I like him.

I saw him sitting on the couch, smoking a cigarette, so I decided to talk to him.

As I walked over to the couch, my stomach started doing flips again.

He looked up, saw me and smiled.

"H-hey" I felt shy speaking to him. I saw him chuckle a little.

"Hi. You can sit if you want" I sat down next to him and took out a cancer stick.

I started smoking when I was 10, because it helped calm my nerves.

"D-do you have a cancer stick" he took one out and passed it to me. "Don't be shy. What's your name" he made me smile. He looked no older than 14.

"Yasmin. What's yours" I took a puff of my cancer stick as he did the same."

"Johnny" I smiled. Cute name for a cute boy.

He laughed. "D-did I say that out loud" he laughed harder and nodded. "Buts it's fine. What were you running from"

I sighed. "My cousin Cole. My parents were killed in an accident, then I had to move here, but Cole drinks a lot and when he gets drunk, he abuses me. But I'm gonna find a way out of there.

"I'm so sorry." He put his hand around my shoulders, making me smile. "How come your always out here?" He smiled, but it wasn't a happy one.

"My parents don't give a hang about me. My old man beats me and my mom ignores me. But at least my family knows I'm there when I am getting beat. So I stay here, and at the Curtis house" I felt sorry for him.

"What's the Curtis house."  I asked. "My bestfriend, ponyboy Curtis lives with his 2 brothers and his parents. We have a gang. That's where we hang out. Mr and mrs Curtis treat us like their own kids, that's why we call them mom and dad." I smiled. That is the life I want to live.

"Who is in that gang. I think I have seen you guys around before" he smiled again.

"Well, there is
Me
Pony
Ponys brother sodapop
His other brother Darry
Two-bit Mathews
Steve randle
And Dallas Winston.

My jaw dropped. Dallas Winston, was the most dangerous greaser in Tulsa. He has a police record that's really long, and he is only 15.

"Why do you look so surprised" he chuckled. "Dallas Winston is part of your gang. He is dangerous" he smiled

"When you get to know him, he isn't really that bad. He is like the guard dog of our gang. He scares everyone away.  But he is a cool guy if ya get to know him." That calmed me down a little more.

We talked for a while before the sun started to set.  If I wasn't home soon, I would be punished.

"I have to go Johnny. It was really nice to meet you." He smiled. "Let's make this an everyday thing. Please, it's nice talking to you" I smiled. "Sure" he eyes lit up

"Great. I'll see you tomorrow Yasmin" he got up and dusted off his pants. "Bye Johnny" I ran off to my house.

We did the same thing everyday for a year.  And we stared to develop feeling for each other.

"Hey yasmin" I smiled. "Yeah"

"I want you to meet the gang"

My eyes went wide.

The next part will be when Yasmin  meets the gang, and when things between Johnny and Yasmin escalate.
