"Hey sis, what do you do if you have an old violin?"

Alana looked up from putting her violin away. It was the orchestra, the last period of the day.

"Hmm... I don't know... Maybe you should paint it!"

Emma laughed.

"Ha. I wish I had that much skill."

"Why not have Nathan paint it?"

"Oh. He actually wants too. I was also thinking I could turn it into a cute little garden, or flower pot."

Alana smirked.

   "Then why not-"

"No. Go tune your violin or something."

   "But orchestra's ove-"

Emma threw her violin cover at Alana.

   "SHHHHHH."

"What??? He is your boyfriend.. Why is stuff still so awkward between you two."

   "He's not my boyfriend..."

   "Sureeeeee, Sureeeeee."

They laughed in unison and left to go home.

   "Friday. Thank God."

Emma plopped down on the couch and began to read. Alana dialed Nathan's number on the phone.

   "Helloooooo?"

"Hey Nathan. Can you come over, Em needs help on some stuff."

   "Sure, I'll be right over."

She ended that call and got the old violin from Emma's room and some paint and art supplies. She sets out all the stuff.

   "Lana what are you..."

She turned around.

   "No. You did not just-"

   "Oh yes I did."

The doorbell rang.

   "Have fun you two!"

Alana motioned to the door. Emma rolled her eyes and opened the door.

   "Hey Nathan, what's up."

She glared at Alana.

   "I'll go get some snacks."

She winks and walks outside. Nathan closes the door.

"So I heard you needed help?"

"Haha... Yeah. Your amazing at drawings, so I thought you could help me?"

   "Of course."

They move to the table where Alana set all of the stuff. There was an awkward tension. Emma gets a text from Alana.

"Go get him tiger. ;)"

She laughed and rolled her eyes.

  "Soooo...."

There's nervous laughter. Emma and Nathan reach for a paper. Their hands touch. Silence. They reach for a pencil. Their hands touch but this time they stay like that for a couple of seconds. They both move their hands.

"Geez... Could this get anymore cliché?"

Emma thought.

"Ok.. So for basics... You need to get the head shape out first."

He started to draw. Emma watched him. She began to hum Helpless to herself. She caught herself and blushed. She picked up her pencil and started drawing too. Nathan continued to tell her tips and guides to drawing. After a while, Emma sighed.

   "Ughhhh.... It's hopeless..."

"No it's not. See, you're doing great."

"No. Yours looks perfect. A DEAD PERSON COULD DRAW BETTER THAN ME."

  "Oh, don't say that."

Emma started tearing up. Nathan brushed some hair from her face.

   "Hey... It's ok, don't cry.."

She quickly wiped the tears from her face.

"Why do I fail everything. I can't do one thing correctly. I'm so bad. I am the most untalented person in the universe. Can I just die? I wish for death to come upon me."

She plastered a fake smile on her face and held in tears. Nathan pulled her in for a hug.

"You're perfect, and amazing. You don't fail at being beautiful. You don't fail at being kind and sweet. You're the best person  I've ever met. Don't tell yourself otherwise."

He smiled brightly and gave her a kiss. He wiped her tears.

"Now let's get back to this art project shall we?"

Emma laughed and picked up paint and began to paint the violin. Nathan joined her too. She told him about the idea of turning it into a flower pot.

"THAT'S PERFECT! See, you're smart too."

He winked and they went to drive to Home Depot. They went to the Garden Area. He took a flower and put it in her hair.

"Look at how cute and adorable you look."

She took out her phone and went to camera to see how she looked. Her hair was in 2 French braids, with flowers decorating it.

   "Smile!"

She took a selfie of both of them. They both went to find some flowers that they liked. Emma started to Snapchat Nathan. He turned to her and laughed. He made an annoyed face and shook a finger. She giggled. He flipped her off. Emma winked and blew a kiss. She walked over and playfully shoved him. He put his arm around her. She poked him. They got the flowers and left to go back to Emma's house. Once they arrived, they brought the painted violin out to the terrace. They placed the flowers into the violin and watered it.

   "Waterproof, so nothing gets ruined."

Emma said. Nathan smiled warmly at her. They looked out, the sun was setting. She and Nathan linked hands. She leaned on his shoulder. They both looked into each others eyes. They leaned in. Their foreheads touched.

   "Hey... I-"

Emma cut him off.

   "Love you."

They both laughed and hugged. They did this cute twirl.

   "I love you."

They said in unison. Nathan placed his hand on her cheek and kissed her. The sunlight of the sunset focused on them. It panned over to the violin. Beautifully painted with Harry Potter inspired designs. It had a message painted on it, along with their signatures.

"Nathan and Emma. ~Always~"
