This is the updated, edited version of this part, i hope it is a bit better. Anyway, thank you for reading! Peace!
The night was nice and warm with the sounds of the bugs and animals resonating from the shadows of the bushes and trees that surrounded you and your family as you all laid there awake while the others slept. Your heart thundered as every little sound that you heard, keeping you awake throughout the night. Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes and tried to clear your mind of the eerie stories your sibling had packed into your head on the drive to the campsite.
While your parents drove down the tree-lined path your older sibling told you all about this strange man that lurked around in the woods, killing young children for food when they camped with their families. You felt your blood freeze when you heard about this, and one of your parents chided your sibling, but it was too late, the nightmarish visage that your mind had cooked up was already cemented into your subconscious. The more time that passed, the more your mind twisted the story to scare you more, leaving you with something of a phobia, dreading the night and all of the nightmares you knew you would have.
Sadly, here you laid, tightly cocooned inside of your (f/c) sleeping bag with your (h/l) (h/c) hair hanging out of the sides. Despite the warmth of your covers, your body shook violently from fear more than the cool breezes that whistled through the trees, making them dance like elegant ballerinas, casting intricate and beautiful shadows onto the grass and dirt. Eventually, your eyes began to grow heavy and your mind began to fog over with sleep.
Just as you were beginning to doze off, you heard the soft sound of footsteps before a tall, looming figure looked down at you, twitching from time to time. Your blood froze in your veins, waking you up in an instant as your throat clenched up with sheer terror, leaving you to make nothing more than a squeal. The stranger stared at you with what seemed to be wide, glassy orange eyes and an ominous white-ish smile.
Your (e/c) eyes widened and your limbs shook without your control, it felt like thousands of spiders were filling your veins as you watched the stranger look up and step over you, heading for your family. Finally, your body calmed just enough for you to let out a shrill screech that woke your father, but all the stranger did was scream and fall on your father like a starving tiger, hacking at him with something that he held in his hand. You struggled to get out of your tight sleeping bag, but you couldn't seem to get a lock on the zippers location, so you had to watch as the rest of your family was woken up and slaughtered in front of you.
Tears rolled down your cheeks as you stared at your parents' corpse while the stranger stood among the bloody, mangled body pieces of your family. The wind had stopped, and no creature dared to stir in the darkness, leaving you in a haunting silence as the stranger huffed, walking forward, crunching down on your sibling's skull as he walked off, muttering and twitching. Your stomach churned and you couldn't stop the noxious vomit that came out of your throat as you cried and tried to stay quiet so the murderer did not return for you.
