Chapter 19

Melody's POV~
I wake up to noise which was my sister getting ready for school "Can you be any louder" I say putting a pillow on top of my head "Oh good you're awake hurry get ready" she says "Wait whatttt? ready for what" I say with wide eyes

"what do you mean ready for what, you're going to school dumbass" she says annoyed "What why no I can't go, I can't face everyone" I start to get the feeling to cry but don't "Melody at some point you have to go, face everyone who cares what they say, go for you" she hugs me, I hug her back and smile

I look worried, what if everyone treats me bad like they did? what if I try to take my life again? all these questions in my head I rub them off and get ready still afraid

I wear some black ripped jeans & a grey long sleeve sweatshirt crop top with a white alien on the top with some white high top converse

I left my hair in braids cuz it didn't look bad, I decided to go on my phone and text my friend Cathy she didn't know I was alive and so I wanted to surprise her it's been long since I talked to her!!

To Cathy💓: hey girl, good morning 😛☀️
From Cathy💓: omg Melody???😭😭
To Cathy💓: yes!! I'm back & alive, I missed you a lot😊😭
From Cathy: omg I missed you too, what happen tell me everything please!!
To Cathy💓: I'll tell you later rn I texted you because, today is the first time I'm going to school in forever & so I'm very worried & scared!!

She gave me the greatest advice ever, I was feeling much better "Melody come on we gotta go" my sister yelled "ok I'm coming" I said, I grabbed my stuff and walked out with her "Hey guys" someone yells from across the street. It was Cameron

He was with the other boys, we waved at him and he ran over to us "hey girls, the boys and I were wondering if you want a ride to school" he gives a cheesy smile I giggle "it's fine thanks my sister can walk and I can take the bus" I start to walk away

"Come on Melody I know you're mad, and I'm sorry for what I did" honestly I wasn't mad at him and I don't know why he was apologizing he didn't do anything "haha you didn't do anything to me I'm not mad at you cam" I giggle "oh good, but come on this is my offer pleaseee" he gives me a big smile

I look at my sister and she gives me a look of your choice "fine but just cuz I love you" I peck his cheek "aw I love you too" he says giving me a big hug "btw I love your outfit" he looks at me up and down "haha thanks boo"

We walk towards his car and the boys give me a hug Except Hayes and Daniel well they tried I reject, haha I know I'm mean but what Hayes did was not good and Daniel is just gonna be awkward

"So Melody how are you feeling going back to school" Shawn says, honestly I'm very excited he's here and is talking to me and knows my name totally fangirling here don't judge "Well I'm very nervous and scared" I fake smile, Shawn and Daniel since they just got here they don't go to school but they just came with cam to drop us off

I was sitting next to Daniel and Hayes great we were the only ones siting all the way in the back, the car had 3 sides of seats so the front where there's the passenger and driver and the middle where 3 or more people can fit and then the back where I was with Hayes and Daniel

I felt it kind of awkward, the car wasn't silent there was music and the boys talking with my sister and whatsoever, I felt awkward so I just got on my phone texting Cathy she was such a good friend I wish I can meet her, she lives in California

I was distracted on my phone when all of a sudden I felt a hand on my thigh, I look over at my thigh and it was Hayes's hand I look at him and he winked at me

He started rubbing my thigh, I whisper over at him "hay-hayes st-s-stop" I look at him and he whispers back "why babe" he smirks, oh my god he kept doing it he was going higher "Melody here's your stop" Cameron yells over at me, thank you goodness who knows how far he could of gone "Thank you cam, bye guys" I get out of the car and just stand there looking at the school, I'm so scared

They open there Windows "Melody don't worry you'll be fine, don't pay attention to anybody" Lucia says from the window, I look over at her and nod smile "Melody come over here" Matt says, I walk over to him "Everything's going to be fine if someone says anything mean to you just tell me and I'll beat them up and if it's a girl then I'll tell another girl to fight her" he smiles at me, a tear drops from my eyes "Thank you" I say they all smile at me as I walk over to the doors

Let me tell you this the first bell already rang to go to the first class I was going a little late I touch the door handle and shake a little "Come on Mel open the door" Carter says I nod my head and smile to my self as I open the door shaking, I hear clapping from the car I look over at them and smile as they drove away

Man I hope it's a good day and nothing happens I'm very scared and nervous, I check in the office as the lady looks surprise "oh my, are you Melody?" the lady asks "yes I am" I side smile a little "you're alive omgg" she practically screams in the office as everyone turns towards me and give huge smiles oh boy this is a good start so far
