'Alexander,' my voice sounded harsh against the concrete walls from the building, 'do you know where I can find your sister?'

The tall male figure in front of me turned around to greet me, by putting his arm around my shoulder. My head almost reached the front of his chest and I had to look up to meet his eyes.

'My dearest Evelyn, am I not good enough for you?' He smilingly asked, ruffling my hair with his giant hand.

'Not before you take a shower.' I grinned at him, pointing out the fact that he smelled like the gym and sweat.

I was about to turn around, since he wasn't giving me any useful information, but before I could do anything else he lifted me from the ground in his arms.

'Alex, let go!' I yelled, slapping him playfully on the head with my child sized hands. He was way taller and stronger than me, although I wasn't going down without a fight.

'You don't like my smell, princess?' He laughed while holding me in a position I couldn't escape from.

'Could you two please stop acting like children? You make me feel like a mother.'

The suddenness of the other female voice made me shiver, forgetting everything I was thinking about.

And it even made me forget the fact I was fighting against Alexander's grip.

'Is that even a serious question, little one?' Alexander grinned at his sister with the same twinkle in his eyes as you could see in her green eyes.

'Obviously not, now let go of her.' She put her hands on her hips, waiting for her brother to release his grip on me.

Eventually Alexander let go of my body, but not before he rubbed his armpits against my shoulders.

'You nasty animal!' I screamed at him while he left the room laughing like a hyena.

'I heard you were looking for me. Did you miss me already?'

Two arms sneaked around my waist, pulling me closer against the warmth of the other female.

'When don't I miss you?' I muttered, the soft lips against my neck made it almost impossible to talk without sounding like a fool.

'When I'm in your bed?' Her soft breath tickled against the pale skin from my neck when she spoke, leaving little goose bumps on the places where it hit the surface.

I could feel her hands traveling down, the touch from her soft fingers on my hips made my whole body feel like it was on fire.

'You know me too well, Charlotte.'

She chuckled against my neck, knowing exactly what her touch did to my body. She knew how she could play my body and my mind, and I liked every second of it.

'Maybe we could do it again this night?' I eagerly nodded, wanting everything she offered me.

Her fingers played with the button from my black skinny jeans, teasing her way inside.

'Why wait when we could do it right now, right here?' I couldn't even think straight at this moment, everything sounded like a party to me.

'Don't mind me, I'm just watching the show.' Charlotte let go of my waist and took a step back, but not before kissing me softly on my right cheek.

'Pervert.' She muttered at the new male figure who had entered the room.

'Aw, that hurts Charlotte.' He chuckled whilst pushing himself away from the wall, and walking towards the refrigerator in the corner of the room.

'It should hurt even more than you're pretending, Thomas.'

Whenever Charlotte and Thomas entered the same room, a tensed atmosphere entered together with them.

Thomas shrugged and finally decided it would be better to ignore the other woman, focussing his eyes on me now.

'The boss is looking for you, Evelyn. He didn't say why, but he said it was urgent.'

Before I could say anything, Charlotte asked if she should come with me. I knew she always wanted to protect me, but the fact he only asked for me probably meant something.

'No, I'll go alone.' I smiled softly, taking her hands in mine and kissing her softly on the lips.

She nodded in agreement, but I could see it in her eyes that she didn't like me going alone.

My footsteps echoed against the walls. They sounded harsh against the silence of the building.

Most people were out at this moment in the day, doing what they had to do to keep everything going.

On a normal day I would scout the area with my normal team, but today I had 'homeduty' with Alexander, Charlotte and Thomas.

The people who were on homeduty had to watch the building, tracking everybody who came in and went out.

Everybody called the task homeduty, just because of the fact that you almost fell like a child who was being punished by his mother by having to stay inside instead of going out to play with his friends.

Rayne's office, if you could call a room with a bed, a desk and two chairs an office, was at the end of the concrete hallway where all the rooms were located.

His door was always closed, he said it was because he didn't like the noise people made, but more likely he just wasn't the social type.

I knocked twice before entering, expecting to see him sitting behind his wooden desk as always.

Instead he stood by the bed in the corner of the room, looking down at the trousers in front of him.

'One, you're not wearing any pants. And two, if you called me in here to give you advise on what pair of pants to wear for the day, then I'm out.' He looked up with a confused gaze, before shaking his head with a little smile.

'Thanks for the comments, but you're not here to give me clothing advice. And if I did need any advice on that, I would have called Charlotte.'

I clutched my chest with both hands while acting dramatic, 'now you're hurting me.'

After another long minute of watching the pants in front of him, he put some black jeans on. Probably to compliment all the other black clothes he wore.

'I called you in here to discuss something.' He said while seating himself in one of the leather chairs, I took my seat in the other one while keeping an eye on him.

The first thing they learned you in scouting school, was to keep an eye on everything and everyone.

The second thing was to keep your enemies close, but your friends closer. In the end you could only trust yourself.

And the third things was to always bring a clean pair of underwear, wherever you went. You never knew what would happen to your body when things got scary.

As I watched him, I said nothing, because I already knew where this whole conversation was going.

He folded his hands together, whilst he seemed to be searching for the right words to say what he wanted to tell me.

'You're one of my best scout, you know that,'

'Thank you for the compliment, but please get to the subject of this whole conversation.' I knew my voice already sounded irritated, but it wasn't something that scared him anymore.

He sighed before continuing, 'I want you to lead a new scouting mission, you can choose your own people, as long as you leave in the morning.'

Alright, I could handle that. I had done various scouting missions, and I liked doing them, but I had the feeling he was holding something back.

'I can do that. But was is it that you're not telling me?'

'You will have to infiltrate inside The Mansion.'
