Hi, before you start reading! :
I wrote a short story for the Love Conversation Contest by Romance here on Wattpad.
It's called 'In the end' and you can find it on my profile. I would really appreciate it if you had some time to read it.
Thank you so much! xx

Evelyn Jane Walker,' I hid behind the barn at the sound of my mothers voice, 'get here before I find you.'
I sighed whilst stepping away from the barn, 'I'm here mother.'
Before she could see the flowers in my hand, I dropped them to the ground.
If she knew I had been picking flowers in this dress, she would lock me in my room for the rest of my life.
'Sit.' She pointed towards the old wooden chair that stood directly in the sunlight, next to the doors.
'I'm sitting, what is the problem?'
'Don't talk like that to your mother.' She snapped as she was directly standing in front of the chair.
'I'm sorry.' I muttered. I didn't dare to look at her, because I already knew what I'd done wrong.
'I heard some people saw you down in the cells. Why were you there?'
The cells.. Or in other words the place were they held the vampires who were used for the experiments.
'I don't know what you are talking about, mother.' My voice only came through faintly.
I kept my head down and my eyes low, as I played with the ruffles on my dress. I hated how she made me wear a dress in public.
'You know damn well what I am talking about, young lady,' She was more than angry at me now, 'the vampire boy.'
'Chase..'
'Chase? So you were down there. Or do you have another explanation for knowing his name?'
'I'm sorry mother.' There was only one thing I wanted right now, and that was to get out of this conversation.
'How many times do I have to tell you that those animals down there are not like us. They lie to you, manipulate you, and in the end they will kill you.'
I flinched at her words. I knew she only repeated the things the leaders told her. Yet it did hurt.
If they only took the time to get to know the people in the cells..
'I've scheduled another appointment with your therapist. Go now.' She pointed towards the door that led into the Base Camp.
'Mom, please don't.' I whispered. I hated going to my therapist. I did not need him, I wasn't going crazy and he wasn't even a real therapist.
Nothing inside the Base Camp was real, they bossed us around as little puppets in their own show.
'I heard what she said to you.' My sister was waiting of the other side of the door that lead inside the Base Camp.
'You shouldn't be eavesdropping, Nadia.'
She shrugged, 'I wasn't eavesdropping, I was walking by and somehow I heard your conversation with mom.'
