Eladras watched the young one go past him with no small amount of amusement. He was so kind, that one! Where in the world was he from? Certainly not Tiaaren. Those ones hated the humans, and would've taken joy from the prospect of the guard's fall from favor.
This one was different.
He considered the younger alf for a bit. Celestar, his name was, wasn't it? What a lovely name. Eladras's younger brother had been named Celestar. Of course, this couldn't be the same one.
Eladras's younger brother had died in a fire, long ago.
Anyways. This Celestar was a lovely young thing, with shapely cheekbones and a well-formed jaw. It wasn't thick and ugly like a human's would be; rather, it was fine, but strong. The barest remnants of baby fat clung to Celestar's cheeks, but they were already shadowed and slim. His mouth was neither wide nor small, and his lips were firm.
Celestar's eyes, however, were Eladras's favorite part of him. They were a vibrant green, framed by thick, dark lashes. His eyebrows weren't the elegantly trimmed affairs that most Alfeyakiin had, but neither were they unattractive. Thick, ever-so-slightly waved hair fell in dark locks down past his shoulders. Its choppiness made Eladras cringe. This one would benefit very much from a proper haircut, and a good brushing. Celestar's hair would likely be silky smooth when properly cared for.
The rest of him was varied, but the operative adjectives were long, lithe, and well-muscled. His legs especially were very shapely. All in all, with perhaps a little bit more grooming, Celestar was a very comely young lad.
His companion, Nevay, was also rather nice to look at. That one, however, wasn't so much handsome as he was pretty. He had very soft features and a delicate face. Eladras liked Celestar better.Kaia and Lore were just adorable together, he decided. They held hands as they walked, and looked at each other like they were the only thing in each other's worlds. Eladras wondered if Nevay and Celestar were together. Nevay certainly seemed to harbor deep affection for Celestar.
Ah, well, no matter. He was getting out of here, and that was all he cared about.
Author's Note: Welcome back to Aer'denna, everybody!
Okay, I stg I have some nice character designs of Celestar that I'm gonna put up for this one. Eventually. It used to be that I'd edit his looks so much, it wasn't even worth drawing good detailed stuff of him, because by the time I finished he'd be completely different! I'm gonna let this description of him sit for a couple of weeks, and if I'm still satisfied with it then, I'll put up my good designs of him.
If you guys have anything you want to say, feel free to comment! If you just want to shoot me a quick thumbs-up, please, drop a vote. Thanks for reading, everbody, and cheers!
