Viva's PØV

I grabbed Tyler's clammy hand.
"I'm your guardian angel." I breathed. My body filled with relief and a single tear escaped my eye.
"Don't cry." He whispered. Tyler wiped my tear away with his thumb and kissed my forehead.
"God saw you on the roof and sent me. We'd been watching you for awhile. He knew your time wasn't up and he knew I needed to come back down."
"That's, that's- when did you die?" He asked. It was obvious he had no idea how to respond.
"Exactly 2 years ago tonight." I responded.
"How?"
"I killed myself when I was 15. That's where all of that stuff on the roof came from about you being a coward."
"You're not a coward. You're back now it's fine." Tyler explained suddenly cheerier.
"No. I'm going back soon. I died. I've served my time on earth and my home is now in heaven." I sobbed.
"No I need you here. You make me happy. Viva I- I-"
"What are you two doing here!?" A park ranger yelled shining a bright light at us.
"Run!" I yelled.
We both took off. I lead Tyler back to my apartment. The park ranger followed us for a few miles but gave up when we got close to my place. I locked the door behind us and sat opposite Tyler on the floor out of breath.
"You're going to have to send Zack to get your car tomorrow." I warned.
"I know." He said.

Tyler was sat cross legged at the end of my bed.
"I made hot chocolate." I handed him the mug of steaming coco.
"Thanks." He replied quietly.
"Do you want something to eat?"
"Uh no thanks." I took the cup from his hands and put it on the floor. I turned so I was fully facing him.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"For not telling you. I shouldn't have kept this from you."
"Why?"
"Because I really like you Tyler." I blurted out. Before I could sink into the floor Tyler's eyes lit up.
"I like you too."
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him hard. We fell asleep holding each other knowing our time together was limited.
